Great view of the Nile + great Hotel = Fantastic vacation
The Sofitel Karnak Luxor hotel was simply fabulous! The swimming pool is set overlooking the Nile and the grounds are beautiful. The food was very good and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Though it is a bit out of the way, I would stay there again without question.

Super Séjour
Une semaine extraordinaire partage entre farniente au bord de la piscine, coucher de soleil au bord du Nil, cocktails au bar, visites des environs et restaurants en ville, Egyptiens charmants et aucuns désagréments (politique).

Wonderful stay in Luxor!
The Sofitel in Luxor was promptly located no more than 10 minutes from city life and around all the great sites. Staff was super friendly and all the ammenities made our stay absolutley wonderful! Recommended!!

Quiet location
This is a great hotel, with very private rooms and a quiet location. It was a bit far from the bustling city, if that is what you are looking for, but the services and the attention couldn't get any better. I tried three different hotels during my stay in Luxor and this one was by far the best.

In Hotel
Because the hotel is a bit far from the downtown area (which guarantees that your stay will be quiet), the option of having dinner at the hotel was very welcomed. The menu buffet provides some variety from night to night.
