Great place for a SHORT stay
The positives: The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very quiet and very well outfitted. The pool is on the 4th floor and includes a panorama window to the alps, and the extras (multiple saunas, steam rooms, a whirl pool on the roof, fitness center, several restaurants, a bar, a disco, and many more) are incredible. The town is very tourist oriented, and there are restaurants, cafes and bars as well as small shops everywhere. The negatives: parking is limited- the free parking lot for the hotel is a 5 minute walk away, which is cumbersome with luggage, and the garage (5,80 Euros per day)is narrow, very difficult to maneuver, and should not attempted in anything larger than a small economy car. The showers in the hotel run hot and cold without prompting, and if you like to shower in the evening, they will scald you. When we informed the manager that my husband, who showers before bed, was scalded quite badly, the manager told us rudely that it was impossible, and if it happened he must have done it himself. Having your room cleaned during your stay costs 12 euros each time, so be prepared to clean up after yourself. There are NO non-smoking rooms in this hotel.
