Radisson Blu Palais Hotel, Vienna

vor unserer Abreise nach Wien war ich Dank der schlechten Bewertung des Hotels versucht noch etwas anderes zu buchen. Zum Glück haben wir das nicht getan! Schönes Hotel, nette Angestellte, super Frühstücksbuffet wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Super Lage !!!!

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hôtel. Première remarque : l'emplacement est vraiment idéal, central et près du métro. L'hôtel en lui même est très beau, mais le style est assez vieillot et les rideaux de la chambre étaient plutôt poussiéreux. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent et surtout on peu commander ce que l'on veut. Le gros hic, c'est le personnel, qui est globalement très jeune et pas du tout adaptė à un hôtel 5 étoiles : manque de fiabilitė, de réactivité, voire de chaleur. Dommage, quand je paie pour un 5 étoiles, j'achėte aussi (surtout?) un service.

I stayed at this hotel with my family. Initially we were put in a room with a view of another building's wall, but when we asked for a room with a better view, they gave us the room with the best view of Stadpark. The minibar was free (juices, water, beer, tea, coffee) and refilled everyday. We were a 10 minute walk from the major shopping area, close to the metro station, and just a couple of stops from the Museums Quarter and other major tourist sites. Highly recommended!

Hotel was nice and clean. Room was a decent size. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel location is very convenient. Easy to get to by public transportation but also accessible by car. There's a parking garage near by. It is also a short walk to the center of town.

Booked a standard room (no. 117) which was nicely appointed and clean. But you had to climb a half a flight of stairs to get to it (with your bags)and walk through the dining room! The room was also under the conference center and I could hear the rearranging of furniture every afternoon to accomodate various changing business meetings (chairs and tables being dragged across the hardwood floor above). But the hotel is well located and the mini bar is stocked daily with free bottles of Diet Coke, water, orange juice and a split of champagne. I would stay here again, but probably request a different room.

Not cheap but well worth it. Hotel is lovely, staff helpfull, food great and location handy to transport. Highly recomended Love to be staying again.

This hotel had great service. When we arrived we found that the hotel records reflected that our room reservation was for two days earlier. Luckily we had the [...] reservation confirmation printout to verify the reservation for the day we arrived. The hotel had no rooms available in the class we had booked. We were upgraded to a large suite and provided breakfast. Great location.

駅からもオペラ座からもレストランからも近く とてもよかったです。

The hotel is an easy walk from the CAT train to the airport, the Underground, St Stephanssplatz, the Opera, the Hofburg Palace, etc. My only complaint is that while they had free wireless and a business center with a computer available for free internet use, each time you needed the business center computer you needed one of the reception desk managers to walk over and enter the password. This was very inconvienent for them and us when they were frequently trying to check in large groups at the same time.
