The Ring

La seule personne parlant français rencontré lors de ce séjour à Vienne travaillait à l'accueil du Ring. C'est dire à quel point nous avons apprécier cet hotel de luxe. Très bien accueillie et bénéficiant même d'une chambre surclassée, nous avons grandement apprécié le confort discret offert par cet hotel. La télévision gagnerait à proposer plus de programmes français et la carte du restaurant serait plus intelligible avec une bonne traduction.

Basically, this is a decent hotel. The room was large. The staff was usually pleasant. The worst thing was that my reservation said that I was supposed to have free “high speed internet.” This is why I picked this hotel. When I got to the hotel I realized that were doing a cleaver bait and switch. They had “dial up speed” internet for free and “business class” internet for 10 euros a day. I spoke to the front desk and they insisted that I only had dial up internet. Their ad also said they had wired internet which they said they do not have. I paid for the business class speed which was suppose to be 3 megs. It was at most 350K. The front desk said, “No one else is complaining.” When I called the next day they said “we already spoke to you about this.” I was quite annoyed. The internet would stop frequently as if waiting for something. It poked along at other times. Sometimes at 20B/sec. There are many lights in the room. With all of them on, I could not read at night, I suppose they are conserving energy. When I arrived the drinking glasses seemed clean. After I used them I noticed that there was towel fuzz all over them. It is common for housekeepers to wash the glasses in the bathroom but I expected better at these prices. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom.

A-one from beginning to end. The location can't be beat.

Very close to main attractions in Vienna. Very friendly and english speaking staff. Large and tall rooms. Great bar and restaurant . If You go to Vienna for a day or two and You don't have much time , stay at "Ring" !!!

The hotel is extremely well located within the Ring, and our room was very comfortable, but this hotel is expensive considering that there wasn't anything really extraordinary about it. In our opinion, there are much better hotels for the money in the area so we would likely not stay here again. The service was mediocre at best, the restaurant did not appeal to us at all and the amenities were adequate but lacked any 'special' touches.

This hotel is located within The Ring, Vienna's famed area where royalty and the elite mingled. The location could not be better as it was easy walking distance to almost everything that a visitor would want to see. The staff is friendly, helpful, and fluent in multiple languages to assist you.

We were treated very well from the moment we arrived. Look forward to going back again.

Old world charm and modern conveniences. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I have to say this was one of the most beautiful rooms I have stayed in.

I was with my sister, but this is a great hotel for anyone. Fantastic location. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed (Nespresso machines/free coffee, nice bathroom ammenties, etc). The beds are super comfortable and the shower/bath is amazing! Staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing that was not fantastic was the food. Didn't go to their restaurant for dinner, but the breakfast and room service were fine but not stand out. Vodka bar is fun though :)
