Vibe Hotel North Sydney

The hotel was nice & we had a stunning view of the bay from our room on the 10th floor. The Milson Point train station is right across the road which is very handy for getting to the City. You can also walk over the famous bridge which is only bout 30min, also near Luna park there is a boat stop that will bring you 1 stop over to Circular Quay. Location cannot be faulted! Breakfast was not included in price even though we paid a good amount for the hotel. Breakfast is good but a bit on the expensive side $28 Hot, $22 continental. Would recommend cafe beside hotel just down the lane instead for better value. No free wi-fi unless you make a purchase in the restaurant & at that it is only for 30mins, these days surely it is expected to have free wifi at the very least in public areas. Free wifi in a cafe up the road if you take a left out of hotel. Would prefer to stay definitely in this area again but not in hotel but an apartment, did not find value for money here. We asked hotel staff about car rental & they were no help really but in general they were fine.

I have nothing to complain about at all in relation to this hotel, staff, location, were great, I will be happy to stay there anytime again.

Excellent hotel-good food and rooms. Brilliant position for access to ferries and trains. 2 minute walk to the Harbour Bridge.Would recommend to anyone

Everything was pretty much up to scratch except that the bathroom door in our room was old and shabby. I thought that charging for parking overnight was a bit much - $22. Also, the restaurant prices are a bit exy and not so good for the tum tum.

The Vibe had a courteous, helpful staff. It is located within a short walk from Luna Park and is only about 50m from the Milson Point train station, which was very convenient. Also nearby were some cheap, convenient eats and a pharmacy. The 2-egg and bacon sandwich is a good hangover cure after a long night at the Rocks. I stayed here to save cash at the end of a trip. On a peak night the hotel room was still under 200 bucks, which is hard to find in Sydney. The hotel room was nothing special, but had a refrigerator and a TV. I had a decent view of Sydney harbor without extra costs. I think the best review I saw previously said that it was like a Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn, with a "mod" theme, perhaps.

I have been staying at this hotel for approx 15 years. Previously as the Duxton Hotel and now the Vibe. Unless something drastically happens I will be staying at this establishment whilst I am in Sydney

Lovely hotel, slightly awkward location - poor parking! - but good acess to the city.

Pros : Train Station, Milson Point, just opposite. Cons : Limited choice of food. Not for long term stay. Experience : Poor. I left my laundry in the laundry bag and expect room service to pick up. But they did not pick it up. I called them to collect it on Saturday afternoon only to realise on Sunday that my laundry is still with them and the laundry service is closed on Sunday. I have to wear jeans to meet clients. When my laundry is back, short of one piece. Consolation is the laundry service will refund when I buy a new piece.

Fantastic location. Parking was shocking. Hotel reception and lobby outside rooms & lift was stuffy and smelly.
