- As part of Brisbane Marriott's multi-million dollar refurbishment project, Motion Bar & Grill is a new city destination restaurant. The restaurant features multiple dining locations including: luxurious booths, Chef's Grill Table, high set tables in the stylish M Bar and the M Deck with alfresco dining and river views plus a street side coffee bar. Our Head Chef has crafted a menu that centres around The Grill, focusing on regional produce. I was extremely disappointed with
I was extremely disappointed with the Marriott given the name and reputation I expected alot more. I went to go for a swim one day out of the entire week I was there and the pool was closed for cleaning and so small - nothing like the picture, the service was ordinary at the restaurant and they did not listen to what I said for my order, they overcharged me for meals, the room needing updating apart from the view it was a very ordinary room. I would even rate the old Novotel as a nicer place to stay. It was a shame I was there for the entire week.

First time in Aussie land
World class service
Impeccable service every time I've stayed at a Marriot, world wide. We were staying at the Brisbane Marriot for a wedding during the flood and had to be relocated to the Gold Coast; a fellow Canadian at the front desk helped us with our transport/accommodations and even looked up cheaper (alternate) hotel options on the coast for us! In the end we stayed at the Surfers Paradise Marriott despite the sharp increase in cost - simply an incredible resort, worth the cost.

The Marriot at Brisbane is a truly wonderful hotel at which to stay. The staff go out of their way to make you welcome and cannot do enough for you. the room was spacious and the overall appearance of the hotel is lusurious and comfortable

Clean well serviced room, but we were given a room with two double beds when we requested a king size bed. We asked to be chnaged, but they had no other rooms. Breakfast was really good and the room deal was well priced.

Found the facilities for a "5 Star" hotel to be nothing more than 4 star at best.Disappointing. Had significant IT issues with broadband connection, remained unresolved

If you're looking for a five star
If you're looking for a five star experience,the Marriott Brisbane certainly warrants their rating.The staff are first class and the ambience has an air of opulence yet very friendly and casual.That's how a hotel should feel.I would like to see a little light entertainment in the restaurant,soft piano or guitar to improve the mood but overall it's still my favourite hotel in Brissy!
