The room is big enough, and ocean
The room is big enough, and ocean view was wonderful! Location is bit far from centre but still can walk. it would be perfect place if you rent a car. As we visit there in winter, we did not use pool facility. but must be nice for people who have kids.

Très grosse déception sur cet
Très grosse déception sur cet hôtel dont tous les services sont payant du nettoyage de la chambre jusqu'au papier toilette. La propreté des chambre laisse à désirer pour un bâtiment dont l'ensemble est vieillit par le manque évident d'entretien. A environ 1km à pied du centre ville de surfer's paradise. Le mantra Legend de la même compagnie est très largement mieux pour un même nombre d'étoiles.

We were very happy with the Sun
We were very happy with the Sun City. The apartments were large the pools great, and the rooms were maintained well. As i read through some reviews before i booked i noticed that some people complained about the big pool being cold , but we found it fine although we were there in Nov. Also some people complained about the hotel/rooms looking a bit run down, but we didnt find this at all,was all good, some people i guess expect perfection. We do alot of travelling, and we thought the standard was great. Would stay again for sure

The Sun City Mantra has great
The Sun City Mantra has great facilities, and the rooms were well appointed and very clean. Fantastic and friendly service from all the staff we encountered, even those we shared random lift rides with. Location is great for the beach, but there is not much in the way of shops in the area, although the Cavill Avenue precinct is only a 10-15 minute walk away. This relative isolation from the action can be a blessing as the area is very quiet at night. Having room service in an apartment style complex is great, especially with young kids who are tired from a day at the theme parks. Food quality was up and down (great burgers), but the pizza's were somehow burnt black about an inch in on the outside rim and yet a soggy inedible mush in the middle. Buffet breakfast was fantastic (and good value), with all the standard options, and some daily variations. Outstanding lagoon style pool with water slides for the kids, hidden spa and pool, away from the main area and indoor heated pool and spa.

Curtains in room had some nasty
Curtains in room had some nasty stains on them. Window seal leaking and wind noise through it. Corridor in the hotel smelt of garbage from the garbage shoots on each level.

The room though clean and well
The room though clean and well appointed disappointed, being a small "B" annexe room or second bedroom to another hotel room and did not meet size expectation. Over all with a breakfast inclusion was well priced overall adequate for short term stay. Excellent views to the Hinterland. On a future occasion would look at alternatives
