When you return to Tambo Lodge at the end of the day after seeing what the region has to offer, there is a warm welcome, the prospect of a game of billiards, a drink with friends around the barbecue and a wonderful night's sleep. You can fill your days easily without even leaving the property as it provides a swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, billiard room and children's playground or just stroll through the gardens and listen to the birds.

- Tambo Lodge is located on the Melbourne side of Lakes Entrance about 8km from the town center at Kalimna West. Hotel is located on Robertsons Rd which is a service road, which runs parallel to the Princes Hwy. If driving from Melbourne (approx 4 hours drive), follow the Princes Hwy. When you get to Swan Reach you have 6km to go. Keep following the highway till you see a turnoff to Nungurner; continue down the highway another 300m and you will see a right hand turn lane. Turn here and Tambo Lodge will be directly in front of you.

- Tambo Lodge does not have a restaurant. All rooms have a Kitchenette or Kitchen. There are also BBQ?s onsite. There are several good restaurants in Lakes Entrance-5 minute?s drive or Metung -10 minutes drive.Continental Breakfast Baskets are available on request for extra charge.

A nice quiet place about 5minutes
A nice quiet place about 5minutes drive from Lakes Entrance. A little run down, but clean.

Excellent motel with brilliant
Excellent motel with brilliant facilities. A little out of town.

Tambo Lodge was a nice place to
Tambo Lodge was a nice place to stay in. John was very friendly and informative. Especially in regards to recommending a very enjoyable cruise, which we would have been unaware of if he didn't mention it.
