Le Plaza Hotel Brussels

Das Hotel liegt an einer super Lage, in der Nähe der Einkaufsstrasse, Restaurants und Bars. Das Nachtleben in Brüssel ist nicht vorhanden, man trifft überwiegend 16 Jährige.

L'hôtel n' est pas trop mal mais lors de la réservation sur le site, on voit 5 étoiles. Étant habitués à la qualité Suisse, ce n'est pas un 5 étoiles de chez nous... Je trouve regrettable que le personnel du restaurant ne parle pas français. L année passée, c était déjà la même chose. Je commande du lait "tiède " pour le biberon de ma fille et le monsieur ne sait même pas de quoi je parle. Pendant 4 jours, tous les matins j ai répété 5 fois le no de la chambre et ce que tiède voulait dire.. Ce ne sont que des détails mais ce sont les détails qui font d'un établissement un établissement haute gamme. Meilleures salutations, G Bigot .

Already the lobby and the bar make you forget what is happening outside. The huge comfortable room and bed give you a feeling of dignity.

The hotel is the classidal luxury hotel with a magnificent hall that rminded me of Hollywood comedies of the fifties. However the room was very small to accomodate three people and we had to ask the staff to get the third bathrobe and slippers. Positive things: good position, gentle and collaborative staff at the reception, free wifi.

Walking distance to the central Midi station and all staffs were very cordious and helpful. The rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable as well; fully satisfied!

Well located, confortable, with an excellent staff. No noise from other rooms, but had some streer noise. Resturant has excellent staff and very good food.

sejour en couple a notre arrivé a l'hotel,proposition de l'acceuil chambre sans clim mais avec un lit kingsize ou chambre avec clim mais deux lits collés ,nous avons pas le choix ,soit l'un ou l'autre aucune autre proposition de surclassement ,finalement nous optons vue la chaleur de ce mois d'aout pour la chambre avec clim avec deux lits collés ,ce choix je deconseille aux couples avec des lits qui bouge de partout impossible de bien dormir et de rien faire ,ce choix de lit collé peut convenir pour une personne seule ,mais pour un couple c'est catastrophique,l'Hotel au lieu de me proposer ce choix ,aurais peut trouver une autre solution ,dire que il n'y a pas de clim dans l'une des chambres c'est .........alors que la description sur l'Hotel dit le contraire sinon rien a dire

The hotel & my room were beautiful, double windows to keep out noise, didn't use the A/C but it's portable so may be noisy. Location was great because I could take the train from the airport to Gare du Nord, walk 10 minutes to hotel on a safe wide street plus just around the corner from a tour bus, short walk to the central sights. Only things missing were a pamphlet with list of services (like where gym was); no hot water pot with cups so couldn't make my own coffee; no ironing board in room; Wi-Fi very expensive (although there are rates that would include free Wi-Fi), and they required an additiional hold on my credit card of 50 euros (app. $80) per night for incidentials even though I wanted no incidentials (I refused since it was pre-paid, but still had to argue to get it reduced to a total of 50 euros for 4 nights because I did not have that much extra available on my credit card). They must not be set up to refuse someone signing a bill to their room in the bar, for example, so they want some credit reserved for those charges & use of in-room bar.

The bed was uncomfortable and 20 years old.. not to mention.. they gave me two singles instead of a queen bed.. yes.. one was available.. I checked. The food made me sick to my stomach and they refused to take any of it off the bill.By the way.. 3 adult book stores on that street.. I'm not a prude, but this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel.And they were out out of ketchup and chocolate ice cream. How do you run out of chocolate anything in Belgium.Someone [...]should get fired....NEVER EVER AGAIN..!!!!!!

"It Was The Best of Times, It Was the Worst of Times". Hotel Le Plaza is a very attractive hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is in the middle of several blocks of adult shops, and is a ten to fifteen minute walk from major attractions. If you will are traveling for business, or taking cabs everywhere, it will be fine. If you are looking to see the sights, and are less than intrepid, it may not be a good choice.
