Ramada Ueberseehotel Bremen

I was visiting for a business trip so didn't spend much time in the room. On the plus side it is quiet, very conveniently located next to all main attractions (I had very little time to spare on tourist attractions) and my hosts knew some good restaurants nearby.; they also served good breakfasts. On the downside, the room stank of humidity when I first arrived - it had rained that day and they weren't able to open the windows; it got better the following days as it got drier and I left the windows open all day but I wouldn't want to be there during the raining season. The bathroom was clean and functional but very small so I was often "elbowing" my way around it. They also have the bad habit of joining two twin size beds as if it's the same as a Queen size bed - it works well for them since they can separate the beds for people sharing rooms but it's not as comfortable for single people (as in my case) wishing for a more comfortable sleeping space. Internet is available for purchase and some rooms don't have any wifi reception - my colleague had to switch rooms because of this but at least the staff acknowledged the problem and switched his room after confirming the issue.

Very convenient location for visiting Bremen city centre. Banhof, trams, shops, etc all close by. Short trip to the airport. I booked a double bed, single occupancy, through hotelclub.com but was told at the hotel that the fee I had paid was for a single bed only. The result was the smallest room I have stayed in at 4 star hotel!

A modern hotel with a perfect location if you want to stay in the center of Bremen. Well equippet rooms, but not specially large.
