Carat Hotel Frankfurt/ Airport

It's good place to overnight near Frankfurt's airport. Very good shuttle connection with airport and very good breakfast.

I stayed on the second floor. Wifi reception was terrible, I had to go to the lobby to work on my lap top. If you need internet connection for your work, I do not recommend Carat Hotel.

I was told that the train station was "a 15 min walk" but actually the distance was close to 2 miles. I was charged for a full breakfast buffet one day because the staff didn't understand I was only having 2 slices of bread and coffee.

What you would expect from the cheapest airport hotel in Frankfurt. Good shuttle every hour. Clean room. Good night sleep. Decent restaurant. Great price!!!! Had no problem with the shuttle at all. Walked out to curb and called on free courtesy phone. Hotel told me when shuttle would arrive and it did on time. For all the people complaining about the location. This is not a hotel to base your vacation out of it is an airport hotel. I got a great night sleep and was out of there. Place was a perfect fit.

Not much of a vacation hotel, but just right for a stay near the airport. The hotel is about a 15-minute shuttle ride from the airport, and the shuttle was timely. Families or those on a sightseeing trip would certainly want to stay closer to the city, as the area around the hotel not much to look at. Overall, friendly staff and a great value!

Don't waste your money! This is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel! It is more like a university dorm! There is no AC and the room has an obsolete 1990's model "AKAI" tv

This hotel was far from 4-star quality. It's located in a very industrial area and the grounds and area were not at all aesthetically pleasing. The room and bathroom were tiny and the view out our window was of a mechanic's shop. Carpet had stains. Small, old TV. Bed was not particularly comfortable (but featherbed comforter was fairly nice). The hall leading to the rooms was narrow, dark and not very clean. The amenities were simply not 4-star quality at all (no slippers or robe or plush towels or chocolate on pillow or bellhop service like you'd expect for a 4-start hotel, etc.). The small restaurant that was part of the hotel was nothing special. We were disappointed, needless to say. We were looking forward to a luxurious stay at a fine hotel and our jaws dropped when we say the place. Two nice things about the hotel: good cookies in the lobby and only about 15-20 minutes from airport. Oh, parking in their garage is NOT free. Only limited street parking is free - if you're lucky enough to get one of those spaces.

We stayed at this hotel the night before an early flight and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It states that it is 2.5 km away, but it is actually 12km from airport. It is also located near train tracks that are VERY loud. We asked for 2 wake up calls, one at 5:15am and another at 5:30am for my husband as I thought I'd be in the shower. We received one wake up call at 5:39. Considering we had planned on leaving at 5:45am this was not enough time for me to get ready. I later realized there are many airports within 900meters of the airport for the same price and the rooms seem to be nicer.
