Steigenberger Airport Hotel Frankfurt

In dem von uns gebuchten Hotel scheint es zwei unterschiedliche Zimmerausstattungen zu geben. Vor einem Jahr wurde uns ein erheblich besseres Zimmer gegeben. Das jetzige Zimmer scheint aus den 70er Jahren zu sein. Die Minibar ließ sich kaum öffnen, Birnen in den Lampen waren defekt und die Ausstattung entsprach einer besseren Pension. Also Vorsicht bei den Buchungen!!!!!!!!!!

The Steinberger is a nice hotel, but very pricy for a simple overnight stay near the airport. The Steinberger in the city is much nicer.

This hotel is in an excellent location for the FRA airport. It's not near anything else, so there is no competition. We were happy to leave because we were nickel'd and dimed to death. The memory I take away is the $17 dollars I spent for a drink of water. I'll find another option next time I am in Frankfurt.

The check-in at Steigenberger took almost 30 minutes. The Hotel had no record of my Orbitz reservation, or of my having pre-paid. The staff member left the desk and returned several times, acting impatient with me, and made no effort to apologize or assure me that I would receive a room. The hotel is beautiful, and very convenient for air travelers. Overall, this place is worth the price for the convenience, but plan your meals elsewhere. The Steigenberger dinners were overpriced and ordinary. The breakfast was acceptable, but compared badly to the usual breakfast in German hotels and guesthouses.

The beds were unconfortable and the maid wanted to come in at 6:15 AM. The location was great if you are flying out in the morning and the shuttle service was on time and dependable.

Nice hotel, very close to the airport, the hotel has a free shuttle to and from the airport, the shuttle runs every 15 mins so it is perfect if you need a place to stay if you have an overnight stay in Frankfurt.

This was a terrible hotel experience. After checking into the hotel and arriving to our room, we actually considered going to another hotel although we already paid for the room. The room was tired (almost depressing) and the simplest amenities were not provided. Our room lacked washcloths and body lotion and the shampoo was combined in the same container as the body wash. For over $300 US a night, a customer expects more. Also, the hotel is not immediately connected to the airport - you will need to take a shuttle. Terrible mistake we will never make againe.

stayed twice....deluxe room....then executive tower...both nice but tower is extra nice. first class shuttle...all features better than Marriott.

Easy access, plus free shuttle bus; clean and quiet hotel. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but you can just have the continental breakfast which is still expensive.

Most of the experiences we had with this hotel were good, though dinner in the hotel marred my overall review. It was conveniently located, the airport shuttles were readily available, and the service was very good. Breakfast was very overpriced, but delicious. Dinner was very overpriced and absolutely terrible (in the hotel bar/lounge). I would stay there again, if convenience was a necessity, but I would never eat in the hotel bar/lounge. Also, we took the same hotel bus to and from the Frankfurt airport, but were dismayed to discover on the way back that only one went to the terminal we needed. We had to return to the hotel and get on the other bus for the right terminal. That should have been clearly displayed, and it was not. It took extra time, though we still made our flight. Lastly, internet is not free.
