The Little Hotel that Almost Could
I was attending the annual Frankfurt Book Fair for the entire week. Location was good in that a train station was adjacent for three stop ride to the Messe. Cabs were easily available and 7 euros to the Messe. Restaurant had a very good a al carte menu. Evening buffet was only choice several nights and not great. Breakfast buffet was only choice in the morning. Bar was open 24 hours and hot and cold snacks were available as well which was good. Hotels hike rates during the Messe, and this one had one of the lowest rates, supposedly a full service hotel, and easy,close transportation to the Messe. That's why I booked it. If the bed was comfortable and I had a chair to sit on comfortably in my room, I would highly recommend. The rooms are small, but well lit and large window.

Take a taxi to the old Opera House area...you will find dozens of small restaurants within a three block area. Several excellent ones adjacent to the Opera House.
