- This modern Restaurant, opens daily for a luxurious buffet breakfast, from 6.15am until 10.00 am Monday to Friday, and until 10.30am on Saturday and Sundays. Included in our cold buffet selection are the following items Fresh Fruit Juices, Cereals, Fresh Fruit, Yoghurts, Criossants & a Variety of Breads. With the Carat Hotel being Germany's only Irish Hotel we also offer a traditional Irish Cooked breakfast of Freshly Scrambled Eggs, Sausages, Bacon, all served with your choice of freshly brewed coffee or tea. The restaurant then goes on to serve an All Day Menu from 12.30pm to 22.00pm daily, with our menu showing influences from all corners of the globe we are confident you will find something to suit your tastes. Der Stadtteil Veddel ist nicht gerade die gute Stube Hamburgs. Zur S-Bahn musste man schon 10 Minuten laufen, dafür liegt die Autobahn für an- und Abreise sehr günstig. Positiv: Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet!

Eigentlich ist das Hotel ganz
Eigentlich ist das Hotel ganz ok, aber leider ist die Lage ungünstig und kein Restaurant weit und breit in der Umgebung. Schade!

The location of the hotel is in
The location of the hotel is in a rather strange area, but is quite handy from the city. A 10 minute walk to the MRT and you are 2 stops away from the city centre. The Hotel is quite good and the rooms are very good for the price. However, the service needs a lot of improvement. Reception staff were trying to be helpful, but because we didn't speak German they were not that interested. Forget about eating in the restaurant, the service was very poor and the choice of meals on the menu was very limited and if you did make a selection the chances were that they didn't have it. Remeber it's only a 10 mintue walk to catch a train to the city centre, where there are heaps of good restaurants to choose from, and the walk is quite safe. Would I stay there again, yes, because for the price, it is a very reasonable hotel. (Think Faulty Towers.)

Hôtel situé dans un quartier sale
Hôtel situé dans un quartier sale , relativement mal famé et mal illuminé la nuit ; malgré ma demande de chambre non-fumeur , faite en même temps que ma réservation sur ce site , ma demande n'a pas été satisfaite et j'ai eu une chambre fumeur ; malgré qu'il s'agit d'un hôtel intitulé "4 étoiles" , l'Internet sur le seul ordinateur qui se trouve à l'entrée n'est pas gratuit ( 10 minutes = 2 euros ) ; le sauna du 2e étage ne fonctionne que de 17:00 à 22:00 ; pas d'air conditionné dans les chambres , mais un ventilateur ; les parties communes de l'hôtel mal entretenues , en n'ayant pas l'aspect d'un hôtel 4 étoiles ; par contre , le petit-déjeuner est suffisant et le personnel assez serviable ...
