The historic center of Handschuhsheim with its shops and restaurants is a 500 meter stroll away. To reach the Autobahn exit Dossenheim only takes a few minutes. In 2000 the entire Hotel and Restaurant Auerstein complex was refurbished and now blends traditional elements with contemporary convenience and modern technology. Each of the 17 rooms have individual charm shile pleasant coloring and high ceilings lend a relaxing atmosphere complementing the subtle intimacy of our house. The rooms have parquet and wood board flooring; large windows and are tastefully decorated. Furthermore they are all equipped with shower; toilet; Internet-access; ISDN phones; radio and TV. In the summer of 2003 our restaurant was redesigned in order to reflect the straightforward elegance with which we envision our idea of hospitality. Our cuisine is fresh and seasonal with an Italian touch and at the same time not neglecting regional specialties.
