Fantastic Location and Helpful Service
Since we were using public transportation, location to the bus/train station was important. Pratt's Hotel was less than a 5 minute walk from those. It ws also in the area of restaurants, tours, the beautiful abbey, the the tourist information center. Staff was helpful and pleasant, both at the desk and in the restaurant. Breakfast was just what we had hoped for from our reading of the hearty English breakfast. Our room was a good size with a huge bathroom...comfy beds and good water pressure The building is older with some cracks in the plaster and uneven floors, so if you are looking for modern stainless steel glitz, don't come here.

Great location as we wanted to
Great location as we wanted to be close to the railway station, it is nice and quiet. Our room was very big with lounge, double bed, another area to make tea and coffee with big wardrobe, the bathroom was all tiled, big and clean. Furniture old, but nice and homely. Would stay again, just for a couple of nights as bed was hard. If you like hard beds stay longer. I did notice they had lots of different rooms.

Great location, nice staff
The staff was very helpful and nice and the location was great. The room was small, but clean. It had a nice new TV and the bathroom had great shower pressure. Stayed for just one night with my husband, and we would stay again.
