Super Lage
Das Hotel befindet sich an bester Lage in der Londoner City. 200 m bis zum Trafalgar Square und 10 bis 15 min zu Fuss zum Picadilly Circus! Einfach genial. Der Buckingham Wing, wo sich unser Zimmer befand wurde letztes Jahre (2011) renoviert und ist sehr schön.

Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Hotels in London sind hier die 4 Sterne wirklich echt und gerechtfertigt. Sehr altes Hotel, toll renoviert im alten Stil. Deluxe Doppelzimmer sind für ein paar Tage völlig in Ordnung, alles drin: Klimanalage, Kühlbox, Bügeleisen, Wasserkocher, Safe (ohne Zusatzkosten) und mehr. Vom Bahnhof direkt unter dem Hotel war nichts zu hören. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Insgesamt etwas teurer aber dafür entschädigt die sehr zentrale Lage. Wenige Schritte zum Trafalgar Square oder zur Themse, 10 min Fußweg zum Picadilly Circus und 30 min zum Buckingham Palace. Rundherum viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Pubs. Für Westend Musicalbesucher gehts kaum optimaler. Wir haben damit "unser" Hotel für weitere Londonbesuche gefunden und empfehlen es uneingeschränkt weiter

Super Hotel im Stadtzentrum
Das Hotel liegt super im Zentrum von London. Die U-Bahn ist gleich über der Strasse. Das Zimmer war geräumig und immer sauber. Das Hotelpersonal war immer sehr hilfbereit und sehr freundlich. Leider sind die Fenster nicht sehr gut isoliert und man hört einbisschen Lärm von draussen. Was uns nicht gestöhrt hat. Wir fanden das Hotel super!!! Wir werden auch das nächste mal, wenn wir in London sind, in diesem Hotel übernachten!!!!

Es gibt sehr viel Sachen in der Nähe die man sich anschauen kann! Auch für Unterhaltung ist nach einem kurzen Spaziergang gesorgt.

Perfect location and very nice hotel
My wife and I agree that this hotel is a perfect location. I was concerned about the price, but after doing research, it was a fair and reasonable rate. It is an old, historic hotel they have upgraded and improved. The bath included a lavatory, commode, tub and shower with heated towel rack. The towels were big enough to wrap-up in! The bed was a bit short for me... I'm over 6 foot, but I survived. The staff was nice, friendly and helpful. We ordered ice from room service every day and the man who brought it was very nice and professional. The concierge helped with our bags and helped us into our taxi. He was very gracious. The hotel is located adjacent to the Charing Cross Underground subway and this was one of the niceties at this hotel. Being located about a block from Trafalgar Square (the center of the city) helps too. Candles are placed on the stairs in the evening giving the entire hotel a very romantic feel. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay!

Le MUST!
3 personnes dans une chambre double avec un lit d'appoint pour 3 nuits! La chambre était superbe, la salle de bains grande et très propre, tout comme la chambre. La literie était excellente, même le lit d'appoint était de très bonne qualité! Le seul bémol peut-être concerne le fait que nous ne pouvions pas ouvrir les fenêtres mais à côté de cela, tout était parfait! Rapport qualité prix pour 3 personnes était excellent, et surtout la situation de l'hôtel ne peut pas être meilleure. A recommander absolument!

Great location
The hotel upgraded us to their executive rooms in a newer building. The path to get to the new building requires the use of two elevators and stairs. It is confusing but the room while small was current and nicely outfitted.

The hotel rooms were described as a room with 1 king bed and 1 twin bed and 1 king bed. When we arrived in London I had to pay an extra 175 pounds or $283 for a biger room. The room we reserved for 3 could not have been any smaller. There was 1 king bed and a pullout couch and nothing else . The couch actually touched the bed leaving no room to walk arround. I kept one of the small rooms for myself and paid the extra$283 for the 3 daughters Very dissapointed with the rooms I understand Europe hotels I have been there at least 40 different trips and know the rooms are smaller than here
