Opulence Central London

Oppulance by name but not by nature, whilst the location is good, I was tarratced here by the apparent discount of a single to £65/£75 a night but there are better and more modern hotels available for taht rate on [this website]. The room was very small and narrow and the bed uncomfortable, the oppulance bit was I guess the redd velvety curtains hanging over the room. Nothing bad to report at all and nice shower gel and clean loos and shower...just dont reckon it was a £65 to £75 hotel more a £50 hotel

The hotel was situated alright and easy to find. For the price of 75 €ur/night it was alright, but nothing more, It was not a 4 star Hotel more close to a budget place to spend one night. The rooms had an old facion style, bathroom not so nice. It was not what I had expect.

Not very impressed. Double room was very small. Shower was very very small. Shower didn't drain so had to keep shower very short or risk flooding! Am still waiting for my receipt 3 days later which I was told would be emailed to me in 10 mins because they had trouble printing it. Not at all what I would call a 'boutique' hotel as described.

1) Front Desk is not very helpful for any non-standard questions 2) No lift

Ceci est un hôtel à enlever de votre liste. Le service est nul. Pas de serviettes de bain à notre arrivée, le frigo n'a jamais marché, les ampoules électriques sont à 25 ou 40 W max. Les chambres sont baroques, sinistres, même si l'espace dans les suites (prix élevé pour ce que c'est) est confortable. Café du petit déjeuner (20 livres!) imbuvable, après un essai nous avons préféré déjeuner à l'extérieur.

Room was extremely small and very hot. On the fourth floor and no lift with a very narrow staircase that had uneven and steep steps. Room size should have been for a single only as climbing over the bed to get in and out of one side of it was not ideal. Window broken and would not close. TV reception virtually non existant

I am not a picky traveler when on business, I consider a hotel room a place to sleep. Unfortunately, this was not anywhere near a hotel room. The "double" room size was the same as a prison cell (10'x6') and I could not even fit my bag in the room. The bathroom was so small the door didn't open in to it - you had to open it half way and slide around it and then close it to get into the bathroom. Of the five days they could have cleaned the room, they cleaned it twice, but not including new linens, and the second time they left the deadbolt out, meaning my door was open all day. The staff did not speak English and could not print out a receipt for my stay and there was no regular TV. There were some arabic stations, so a couple of times there were American movies with Arabic sub-titles. I have stayed in London over 50 times, and this was by far the worst experience. They claim to be a 4 star, but according to the criteria would not pass for a 2 star.

Globalement, pas si mauvais hotel que ça... Mais ne vous fiez surtout pas aux photos que vous pourriez voir ! Elles avantagent considérablement les chambres. Normal ? Bof...! Un peu trop cher pour ce que c'est tout de même.
