Shaftesbury Premier London Notting Hill Hotel

Du personnel toujours présent, souriant et disponible, un hôtel propre et chaleureux. Notre chambre était au 2e étage avec ascenseur, donc pratique en revenant fatigués de nos ballades... coté cour et très calme, mais même la rue n'est pas très passante! Au quotidien, lit fait, serviettes changées, produits de toilette rechargés...Connexion wi-fi gratuite, adaptateur prise électrique prété en début de séjour, consigne bagages gratuite le dernier jour... toutes ces prestations avaient été payé par des amis dans d'autres hôtels londoniens!!!! N'hésitez pas à sortir à la station bayswater ou queensway, les plus proches de l'hôtel, 5 à 10mn à pied...

The room was too small. We had to take turns to walk within the room. They didn't clean the room the first day. We asked for clean towels and they brought just the small ones and not the bath towels. There was a spanish bell boy who was very nice and friendly.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room a little small, but very clean and comfortable. Located in the heart of everything. Walking distance to Tube which was great. Will definitely use again when visiting London.

I was shocked by the small size of the hotel room. Basically could fit one king bed and a foot around it. That too in a basement. I requested a another room and was offered one on the first floor with windows. Phew. Else, for three nights I would have suffocated. The actual facilities were nice (bathroom, bedding, TV, Internet etc.) and the staff was courteous.

Although the hotel is located in a very convenient location this was somewhat offset by the service. To be frank, the staff were poorly trained and we spent hours (literally) sorting out payment. Our rooms had been prepaid by HotelClub and the hotel insisted that we be charged (again). Later the charges by the hotel were reversed but it took a great deal of time and effort to resolve this issue. I put this down to the lack of staff training. There was one staff member - a trainee who seemed to be the only one who knew how to proceed. Not an ideal sitatuation given we stayed for a short period and were in the middle of organising a wedding.

Lovely Wood furnished Hotel. They have elevator and moder stile lobby where you can have access to Computer and press.

The hotel is located in a nice place with easy access to the subway. The room is very small for two people if you're staying longer than 2 nights. People at the reception was friendly, but the service was quite slow. Overbooking seemed to be something usual.
