bon hôtel mais le prix est un peu cher
Hôtel bien situé, pas trop loin des transport prés de victoria, mais il ne faut pas avoir peur de marcher. L’hôtel est propre. Les toilettes et les douches individuelles (mais sur le pallier) ont été refait. L’inconvénient s'est qu'ils sont assez loin selon où est située votre chambre.(homme d'un coté de l'étage,et femme de l'autre coté de l'étage) . Le petit déjeuner est très bien, copieux, à volonté. Mais renseignez- vous bien sur les horaires car sur le site il y a marqué jusqu'à 10 heures mais c'était jusqu'à 9 heures quand nous y étions.

Hostel style Hotel
Although this hotel is very old, the rooms were clean and the location was great. The bathrooms aren't located in the rooms, however, they are remodeled and kept very clean.

It was only one night
I've never stayed at a place that did not have a bathroom in the room...the women's was all the way down the hall with noise floors so I'm sure I woke people up when I had to walk to the bathroom. Windows did not keep cold air or traffic noise out. When the people in the next room would open their door it would slightly open ours. Thank goodness it was for only one night.

good location and right price
Location is excellent. Room is clean. Breakfast is included. Men's shower room needs some work. Also check in time is 2 pm.

The Wellington
Overall the hotel is good for it's value. Pro: 1. Good values for the price 2. Breakfast included 3. Bathrooms and showers are extremely clean 4. 10-15 min walk to Victoria 5. Safe and quiet Con: 1. No Elevator 2. Have to pay for internet and no wireless (If you must use your personal laptop for internet access, then you have to go next door hotel) Bottom line: It's not a 4 or 5 star hotel, so don't expect too much, but you will get everything basic that you need from there. It's decent if you need a place to sleep for a night or two. People who lives in the hotels are pretty nice, too. I made quiet few friends during my stay there.

This Hotel wasnt exactly what I expected but I liked it nonetheless. Good deal. Good location. Good service.

Trés bien placé, mais pas de SDB !!
On se laisse agréablement surprendre par une facade attrayante et un personnel cordial...la déception commence en montant les escaliers. C'est vétuste ! Les chambres sont rudimentaires. 1 lit + 1 lavabo + 1 TV....shower et wc COMMUNS sur le palier. Pas trés explicite sur la présentation, il faut lire entre les lignes ! La cabine ne ferme pas et la vitre est plutôt transparente...pudiques s'abstenir et prévoir un maillot de bain ! Sinon l'hôtel est proche de Victoria (pratique), propre,le PDJ continental inclus est suffisant (Anglais + 5£). Un peu bruyant toutefois ! Rapport qualité/prix un peu cher. Sur place on découvre des petits hôtels à prix abordables et avec une salle de bain ! Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.

Long walk from hotel
MAMA MIA au Prince of Wales Theater! Simplement extraordinaire ! A voir ! Le théâtre est bien conçu et même sur les places du fond on voit trés bien ! Pour des séjours d'une semaine, un hôtel avec kitchennette est bien, on tourne vite en rond des easy food pas équilibrés et pas chers pour le porte monnaie. Les prix des tickets d'entrées sont hors de prix. St Paul, Westminter, tower of London...comptez pour 1 ADL et 1 CH environ 30 € ! London Bridge offre une vue magnifique. A faire ! L'underground chiffre vite éqalement. La TRAVEL DAY CARD est la mieux placée pour des trajets sur zones tout au long de la journée. Le tarif enfant est trés interessant mais à demander au guichet uniquement.

Very pleased!
Simple, inexpensive, prime location!
This hotel was perfect given it's location and our tight budget! Our room was primitive (similar to a hostel), but clean and charming. The staff was friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets are shared for each floor, but they were remarkably clean and modern. If you are on a budget and want to stay in the heart of London, this hotel is a good choice!

Short walk from hotel
Billy Elliot was playing nearby, and we went to see if we could buy last minute tickets from the box office. The tickets that we purchased were the cheapest in the house, but the seats were up front and fairly centered (they were cheap because we "may have missed some footwork", sitting so close to the stage). I would not have wanted to sit anywhere else in the house! The seats were INCREDIBLE, and the show was OUTSTANDING!
