Not what we expected
My husband and I booked this as a luxurious second hotel on our honeymoon. We spent a lot of time reading the reviews to make an informed decision. We splurged on the villa and were very disappointed. We had been staying at the Courtyard in Nusa Dua, and when we switched to the Bali Khama we were really not impressed. From the outside it looked nice, but it was not nearly as pristine as the pictures or reviews. It was a little dirty and rundown. The villas bathroom was outside (with a ceiling) and there were lots of bugs and ants around. The personal dipping pool was very disappointing and looked too gross to get into, and the butler was simply "dial 0 for assistance". We checked out after 1 day and moved back to the Courtyard.

Short drive from hotel
Book a car through your hotel and go to Ubud or up North. It's inexpensive and totally worth it!

Great resort, a little smaller
Great resort, a little smaller than the mega resorts around it which allows it to have a more exclusive and private feel to it. We stayed in the studio apartment which was very clean with heaps of space. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was tasty with a lot of different options depending on your taste. The only real disappointment was the business centre and the internet connection, however the wireless hotspots worked quite well.

the hotel is very good. I would
the hotel is very good. I would love to go back. espcially with the size of the studio room. and the sofa bed in the living room. plus, an extra bathroom is splendid for family travellers like us

This hotel was very very good.
This hotel was very very good. It was on a somewhat busy beach but the hotel itself was very restful. The staff were excellent and realy helped us especially when organising a car to show us around the island. The breakfast and pool (and spa as my wife told me) were all excellent. My slight issue was that that was all. For the money I expected something else. Location wise, the area is not as good as you may want. The beach was close but with loads of seaweed it looked dirty (did have plastic floating in the water too but that is Bali). Also the tide whet out at 3pm and it certainly goes out a long way!
