Irish Rovers
Icky hotel in perfect location
The Hotel was really old, and in major need of an update. The staff was very friendly, but the rooms we had were awful. We were in a non smoking room, that smelled like fifty years worth of stale cigarettes. The best thing about the hotel was the superb location. It was a 5 minute walk from the Blarney Castle.

Comfortable and Friendly
Great staff, very friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Location was great, out of the city but still enough around to keep busy. We got in very late when we checked in and hadn't eaten yet. The resturant was closed, but they offered to make sandwiches for us. The continental breakfast was very good and filled us up for our long day. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

My review of Blarney Woollen Mills
The room was not fancy, but was very nice, with excellent linens and pillows. There was no hair dryer in the room. If you want to see Blarney Castle, this hotel is perfect. It is a 3-5 minute walk to the Castle. You are also next to the Blarney Woollen Mills Shops if you are interested in shopping. The breakfast included in the rate was a hot buffet with typical Irish breakfast items. We would stay here again.
