Good location
The Aurora Residence Amalfi is not at the same location as the Aurora Hotel in Amalfi. It is actually better situated in the center of Amalfi and is only a minute to the town's main square where there are a lots of restaurants and stores. Keep in mind there is no towel replenishment if you stay less than a week. There is also no room service. The apartment was spacious with a decent sized bedroom, kitchen, dining, and living room. There were a couple of windows but there was no view. The only view you get is of the building next door. There is laundry, but it is in the stairway. I'm not sure if it's free since I haven't used it. There is also no elevator. The hot water also runs out after one shower. You will have to wait for the water to heat up again. Overall, I enjoyed the stay at the apartment.
