Hotel Domo

The Hotel was very dark, as it is obviously going for the save the environment! The main light is blueish dark and almost always with sensors, means you have to enter a room, before the light really comes on. The room was not very big and the aircondition (saving the environment again) was the type A saving power but making all night gurgeling and bubbling sounds. My wife thought, someone took a bath all night next door ! The female owner was very unfriendly, unprofessional and claimed, she never got ouer payment from march the 29th, so she charged us again Euro 175 for the same 2 days ! Thats about $100 more, than what we paid before. Breakfast was another disaster : Everything presented in selfmade pots and jars, but nothing cooled or kept fresh. When we came at 10 AM, the ham hat curls from the heat and the orangejuice and the milk were room temperature, which was not too cool. All the offered bread was laying there for a couple of hours, as none of it tasted even slightly fresh. The coffee maker was turned off, you had to go to that unfriendly woman at the reception, to ask for a coffee from the bar. We avoided that after our discussion about the payment and chose the warm water with some tea bags, but couldn't really drink it, as the water was about 104 F warm/cold max. Please take this Hotel off your website and never support it again ! We travel around Europe at least 40 nights a year and use mostly IBIS, Mercure and Novotel, but we never had an experience like this in the last 3 years. Thx for your time F. Lattermann and wife
