If you prefer, you could take the steps, the famous Scalinatella longa, longa, longa of the world-famous Neapolitan song, which bring you to Positano's beach and squares within five minutes.

Positano is located on the Amalfi Coast,55 km from Naples. BY CAR FROM NAPLES Follow the sign to "Salerno A3", take particular care not to take the turning into the Naples centre. After approx 2 kms take the right hand fork at the sign for "Salerno A3",continue and pass through the pay booth,proceeding on this motorway for POMPEI-CASTELLAMMARE. Pass the Pompei exit and then leave the motorway at the next Castellammare exit. After approx 2 kms from the exit,follow the signs for Sorrento until you arrive on the coast road SS163 for Positano and Amalfi.
