Anfiteatro Flavio

Perfect Location- Near Colliseum. Small room. And Uncomforted that we had to leave our keys with the hotel when we left for the day.

When I made the reservation I noted that there was an error in the number of guests on the request-it said 2 instead of 3. I called the [...]helpline and waited while she contacted the hotel itself. She assured me that it had been changed to 3 as was my request for a quad room (reading the reviews on you website had cautioned me to get as large a room as possible.) However we were not put in the quad room as requested, although the hotel clerk acknowledged that they had been called by [...]in regard to the situation. So, I feel I was charged for a quad but given a triple. The hotel said [...] had not paid them so they were not the ones who should refund.In addition, when we moved the beds around to create 3, the floor underneath was covered with dust. Sheets were not changed daily nor were pillowcases. As with most places we stayed in Italy, it was noisy but having a fish store next door with 5 am deliveries added to the noise immensely. I'd advise other travellers to look around.

Location was great...just down the street from the Colliseum. The room we had was great for our family of four as we were given a large room with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. It was on the 3rd floor and we had to drag our luggage up the stairs. Would definitely stay here again.

I will never stay there again. I did not get the room that I booked. They let me change but I had to pay more since the new room was larger. There was a n awful smell in the first room which the hotel attributed to the aging Roman water pipes. There was also no hot water pressure although the cold water was fine. They also attributed this to the water system in the old city. I do not believe them as I have stayed in hotels literally a block or two away and there was plenty of hot water and pressure and no smell.

Very friendly staff and great location.

The hotel staff was very well in assisting to make the stay comfortable, but the breakfast area was quite "quaint" and a bit of low selection. Fifteen minutes of internet usage a day seemed a bit scarce, but the location is right next to the Colosseum and Metro which was great.

1ère nuit au 5ème étage: la chambre n'était pas satisfaisante car la sdb était à l'extérieur de la chambre (clés différentes et passage dans un sas pour y aller, ce qui n'est pas pratique ni confortable) L'hotel a accepté que l'on change de chambre la nuit suivante. Service et amabilité des personnes de la réception très bons. Petit déjeuner assez moyen

très bon emplacement, coffre et frigo dans la chambre,2mn du colisée petit dejeuner correct vraiment un très bon départ pour visiter rome

Our stay at Anfiteatro Flavio B&B was a very pleasant experience. The staff was excellent. I had a problem with a lost cell phone and the staff went above and beyond to help me. I so appreciated their assistance. The hotel was very quaint and well appointed with all the neccessities. We had a private bath, safe in the room, refridgerator, access to a computer, flat screen TV (although we only got Italian Stations, but when in Rome!!!) It was clean and very well maintained. The location was exceptional. It is located in the center of the monument district within walking distance of the coliseum. There were a number of really good reasonable resturants nearby and a great gellatta shop across the street. I will definately stay there again.
