Parquet on the floor and the furniture are hand made by artisans.The cleaning and the hygene are two of the most important features.The atmosphere in each room is fantastic thanks to the modern set and to the amenities. Italian Getaway
The hotel itself was beautiful! Sitting on a hill with a view of Rome in the distance, fountains in the garden area and lots of room to sit outside and enjoy the Italian air. If you want a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of big city Rome then this is a good place. Our room was large with its own bath, king size bed, sitting area and french doors that opened onto our own small balcony. It was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the a/c didn't get very cool. We were able to open the balcony doors at night and let in some cool air, but the noise from the adjacent road kept waking us up. Also...we were told that the train station was a short, easy walk from the hotel. The first time or two wasn't too bad, but it was at least a mile down a narrow road with a lot of traffic. The hotel could definitely benefit by adding a shuttle a few times a day to and from the train station. It takes at least half an hour to make the trip into Rome on the train, so the location as far as sightseeing isn't great.

Short walk from hotel
There is a restaurant a short walk from the hotel down the hill toward the train station. We didn't actually get a chance to eat there, but everytime we walked past in the evening it was busy with the local people and smelled great.

rustig hotel
Een erg mooi hotel, onderhoud uitstekend verzorgd. Mooie kamer. De ligging is in de nabijheid van Marino. Ondanks navigatie moesten we vaak vragen. We kregen een paar keer een verkeerde richting aangegeven. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk, behalve de ober die ons eten terugkreeg. We kwamen laat aan en vroegen of we nog konden dineren, dat kon, maar de maaltijd was deels niet gaar en de groentes aangebrand. Ons commentaar werd door hem niet in dank afgenomen.

Good for Ciampino
Lovely facility near Ciampino airport. Not a good place if you are a tourist and wish to see the sights of Rome but excellent if you have an early morning flight from Ciampino. No easily accessible public transportation to get into Rome Center. Great room, comfortable bed and great shower! Cheap on the breakfast, though. The shuttle is 25 euros to airport(10 minute drive). Our daughter, who lives in Rome, joined us for dinner and her taxi all the way to the Trastevere neighborhood in Rome was 60 euros(40 mintues). Due to a wedding reception at the hotel, we had to walk to a nearby restaurant. Wish we had been informed by e-mail prior to our arrival. All that being said, I can assure you, there is no hotel in the Center of Rome that is this nice for the price.
