The Richmond Hotel rises over the Emperor Titus Temple of the Peace just in the middle of the Roman Forum and less than 100 yards far from the Colosseum; Capitoline Hill and Piazza Venezia. A top location with great service at very affordable rates. The roof garden overlooks all the monuments in the area and allows our guests to have a rest after their cultural tours or shopping. Room amenities include air conditioning; safe; private bathroom; telephone and WiFi. Additional information; Children age 5 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

Great location, good value

We stayed at the property for 6 nights. The best feature is the rooftop dining for breakfast. The view is great (overooking the forum) and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Great way to start the day. The room was average, fairly clean. The bathroom did not really have a shower, just a tub with a sprayer, but we got used to using it. The other great thing about this hotel is the location. Directly across the street from the forum and collesium. You can really walk to all of Rome from here. I walked to the Vatican (about 40 minutes). The Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps are all within a half hour walk. It was a decent value.
