close to the airport
Hi I chose this hotel because it was very close to fiumicino airport! the room was clean, but too small.

Everything cost something
I had to pay 15 Euro for the "airport shuttle" service. Their wireless internet access cost 3 Euro for an hour. I just felt that they charge for EVERYTHING!

Great budget value
A great place to stay while transiting from one city to another. Awesome price of $65 a night while euro exchange rate is quite painful for a budget traveler. You will pay 15 euros for the hotel shuttle to the airport - one-way. The linen was very nice and clean - my most important value for any hotel. Very lovely courtyard with white columns and beautiful swimming pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast ordinary, if you are happy with a bowl of cereal or fruit and some breads with jams, you will like it. No deli meats or cheeses. The bathroom was not stocked with much supplies, but there was a fan. Close proximity to the airport is the big plus.

Food was not that great
We flew out of Rome that next day. I thought the 15 Euro was high for the trip. It was more than 20 minutes away to airport. The price for room was reasonable. Service for dinner was not good and price was a little high, and quality average. Breakfast was very good. Room air did not work.

End of trip stay
Served our purpose well as we were flying out the next day. Staff was friendly and efficient. Our room was nice, but bathroom/shower needed work. Breakfast was good, but was limited.

Tom the dancing machine
I thiink the location is fine!
This is my fourth stay at Ostia Antica Park Hotel- enough said!?The hotel has a nice pool and area to relax. The bus stops right near the hotel and drops you off directly across the street. You can also use the hotel's shuttle service but you really do not need to do that because the public transportation is good. I would recommend the shuttle for returning to Fuminico Airport 15 euros and 10 minute ride. That sure beats a taxi ride. I went to Sperlongo, Anzio, Ostia Lido and center city Rome and it was really fun. The staff are very nice and helpful. One morning I was waiting for the bus in a rain shower and the desk clerk saw me and gave me a ride to the train station!!! The restaurant has specials at lunch and dinner. The breakfast is free and it is fine too. I always have a nice stay at Ostia Antica Park hotel Tom Melchiorre

the restaurant in the hotel is good. There is another restaurant directly across the street that is family owned and Nonna is really there working. The Gnocchi were true Southern Italian Style...Fantistic

Scary area
Hotel was ALOT further from Rome "Centro" area than expected. Also, what the photos don't show is that the hotel is in a VERY sketchy light-industrial/blighted residential area (lots of litter and grafitti). Plan WAS to bus or train to Rome. But no way we would walk from the station to the hotel in that neighborhood (this from someone who lives in the edgier urban heart of a major US city and who is accustomed to being in the grittier city neighborhoods, as opposed to the suburbs). Then, at our 4:30 am checkout, the desk clerk randomly told us there was a new "tax" we owed of 2Euros per person -- although our [...]receipt showed we'd paid all taxes and fees. We paid in change without getting any receipt or formal bill. (We were in a rush to get to the airport.) Legit charge? Doubt it. Hotel has an airport shuttle but it doesn't run between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. Costs 15Euro per rider each way. (For a 15-minutes maximum drive.) They'll arrange a cab for an after-hours drive to the airport--cost is a "mere" 30Euro (!!) for the same short ride. May as well pay a little more and stay at the Hilton, right at the airport.

Great location and nice hotel
The hotel's proximity to the ancient ruins at Ostia Antica (3 minutes) and the airport (15 minutes) was perfect for out last stop on our lengthy Italian vacation. The hotel was clean, modern, had a very nice breakfast, and the pool is great on a hot summer day. This was a comfortable stop and we will definitely repeat on out next visit.

Don't miss a visit to the ancient ruins in Ostia Antica. You could spend from an hour to a full day exploring there.

Fair Hotel not so close to the airport
Last night of a fantastic three week trip all over Italy with a 7 day cruise in the middle. The hotel had good points and bad. The staff was great and really helpful. All spoke english. The beds(they gave us twins) were like squeaky boards, the worst in our trip. The hotel was not close to the airport, but the shuttle got us there in plenty of time. The rooms were so-so. The high point was a nice dinner in the restaurant at the end of a long and tiring day. Next time I'll pay more and stay in a hotel that is closer to the airport.

Connected to restaurant but may not be same ownership. Had to pay the bill separately, not charged to room. Small facility with personal service... they made me a Caprese Salad not on the menu, and more than adequate portions. House wine was good and reasonably priced if you are not in the mood for a whole bottle. Breakfast in the same room was so-so.
