- The Papavista Relais offers a prime location at the heart of Rome, 20 meters from the Vatican Museums and a few steps from the main monuments of the Eternal City, close to the subway station Ottaviano-Musei Vaticani. You can soak in the beauty of the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica, or in the thousand-year history of Castel Sant'Angelo. Walking along the Tiber you can reach the characteristic district of Trastevere, with its excellent bars and restaurants ready to welcome you at any hour of the evening. The heart of the medieval town lies on the other side of the Tiber. Just cross one of the bridges to find yourselves immersed in a dense network of roads, streets and several alleys, full of inns, pubs, bars, shops and craft shops. The rest of the city is accessible by public transport and by the efficient underground network, with a stop a few meters from Papavista Relais.

QUAINT HOTEL, INCREDIBLE STAFF
Papavista Relais Rome is a 5 room hotel (i.e. Quaint hotel) very near the Vatican Museums. My family occupied 3 of the 5 rooms and found each to be spacious, beautifully clean with great AC and very nice bathrooms. Adding a mattress pad to improve bed softness would be our only suggestion. The wonderful staff makes this hotel special. Each of them made us feel as if we were staying in their home and had become part of their family. Many thanks to David, Grasia and Stefani for making our visit so memorable!

Ask the staff for suggestions! They are incrediblly knowledgable about thier city. Grasia suggested visiting some smaller churches to see beautiful artworks and David escorted us to a local eatery that was delicious! Take advantage of thier willingness to help you.

GREAT SMALL HOTEL AND A VERY EUROPE WAY TO STAY
THE HOTEL STAFF WAS AMAIZING AND HOTEL AND SERVICES GREAT , JUST A FEW STEPS FROM VATICANO. VERY RARE WAY TO GET IN TO HOTEL SINCE IS IN A 3TH FLOOR FROM AN ANTIQUE BUILD, BUT GREAT EXPERIENCE IN ROME,,AND SO KIND !!!! THANK YOU !!!!

Good Experiance
The hotel was very comfy and the staff was helpful. I would recommend this hotel and the location is great, very close to the vatican.

Awesome place to stay
Everything was great! Airport shuttle was expensive but so is a taxi. Homy feel to the room was nice.

A tasteful, cozy retreat
The staff were highly accommodating, and friendly. After a long day I felt very comfortable coming to the B&B, and speaking with the desk attendant. It is very small, only 6 rooms; I felt that i was staying in someone's home. My only criticism, is that it was very difficult to find. We could not find it on our own when driving, and even when we choose to take a cab from the nearby Vatican, my taxi driver was still confused; we passed the location several times until asking a local and finding that it is on the 3rd floor of a residential building.
