Santa Costanza Hotel Rome

Das Hotel ist ganz in Ordnung, man hört aber mehr die Nachbarn durch die Wände als Strassenlärm. Zentrum leicht mit Bus erreichbar, Frühstück passabel, sauber, freundlich. Alles in allem gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

l'hotel est un peu excentré mais tout à coté de la ligne de bus 60 qui vous amène au centre de Rome en 15mn. Il est calme, confortable et agréable. Un bon rapport qualité prix.

This was our first time in Rome, and we were on a budget so couldn't stretch to an inner city hotel. However, on arrival I'm glad this was the case! Santa Costanza is in a really lovely little leafy neighbourhood, 3metro stops from Termini and then about a 10-15min walk from the metro stop. We found it great for nipping into town etc and as a platform for the rest of rome. To walk to the centre took us about 45mins. The surrounding area has wonderful patisseries, a supermarket, tabbacanists and if you look hard enough some lovely little restaurants. The hotel itself was clean and tidy. Our room was compact but perfectly pleasant, we literally used it to sleep and shower and the facilities were perfectly adeqauate. I was concerned about the breakfast having read past reviews, but was impressed at the choice, cereals, pastries, yoghurt and bread. However I would have liked some fresh fruit but thats just my personal preference. Far better than any greasy fry up in my opinion anyway!! One slight issue was the walls were very thin, we could literally hear the converstation in the room next door which was annoying on a night but as I sleep with ear plugs and was exhausted from days sightseeing this wasnt an issue for me. Overall I would recommend this hotel for travellers who want to get away from the grime of the city centre and experience the suburbs! Would definately return.

This hotel is not center of town but there is a bus stop right outside of the hotel and its very easy to figure out which bus to take. Its a bit dated but clean. And as most hotels in Rome, the rooms are tiny, but atleast our bathroom had a standup shower.

The hotel was clean and the room was decent. It was a short walk to the subway stop, which was nice. Overall it was OK, but the toilet smelled, so we had to keep the lid down the entire time. Also, the website claimed to have wireless internet but it wasn't working until our last day. The worst part was that we could not print our boarding passes even in the hotel lobby, and we ended up missing our flight since the check in desks at the airport close very early.

The Hotel was nice for the price, it was outside of the main attractions. About a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro stop that then takes you everywhere you would want to go. Not much to do right around the hotel but it was just fine for us. It was our home base, place to sleep and shower. We would leave in the morning and not return til we were done for the day. There is a small city tax when you check out but not much.

The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood. Not overrun with tourists. Both bus and Metro transport are nearby. The hotel is modern but nicely decorated. Breakfast was more than adequate. Maybe the rooms could be quieter.

I'm very pleased to be there with my family for three nights. It's truth it was a bit noisy during the night and somehow was hard to sleep because of all those cars and scooters driving around without ear plugs, but hey you're in Roma 10 min walking away from Bologna metro station. Staff is friendly, room small but cosy and clean, breakfast reasonable for the price and I appreciate that!

Lovely hotel. Great value. Breakfast was great. Way more than enough food to get you going for the day. This location was nice in that it was away from the more expensive areas and we could stock up on water and snacks for the day at the supermarket for very low prices but was close to the metro and busses so that we did not have a long commute. Great staff. Very friendly with reception open 24 hrs. Would return.

The hotel was closed to the Bologna Station where you can take the metro to move freely to most directions within the city. The staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms are small and nothing luxurious but cozy and fair for the price. I had a balcony on the 5th floor which I found extra nice. I found the location of the hotel very nice because on the way to the station you will find pizzerias and bakeries that carries better food than that on the center of Rome. If you stay in this hotel try the pizzerias nearby like Bufalla Mondo. The breakfast at the hotel was good, except for the juice which was terrible. I would definitively stay again in this hotel.
