Tolles ruhiges Hotel mit S-Bahn direkt vor der Tür
Wir (2 Ehepaare aus Hameln/Deutschland) haben 5 Nächte in diesem schönen Hotel anlaesslich einer Citytour in Rom gewohnt. Bei unsere Ankunft wurden wir herzlich und freundlich empfangen von Frau Splendore. Diese sehr nette Dame hat ihre sämtlichen Deutschkenntnisse ausgepackt, so dass wir uns dort gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Die Informationen von ihr zum Hotel und die Tipps für unsere Romtouren waren sehr gut und trafen perfekt zu. Wir hatten an sich keine Probleme mit der etwas kleinen Dusche im Badezimmer; für Schwergewichtige könnte das aber etwas problematischer sein. Aber uns hat das nicht gestört. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder dort übernachten, wenn wir nach Rom zurückkehren.

Short walk from hotel
Die Restaurants in Trastevere (dort ist immer etwas los!) sind entweder zu Fuß (ca. 15 Gehminuten) oder mit der S-Bahn erreichbar. Auswahl gibt es dort reichlich und an sich sind alle Speiselokale zu empfehlen. Bitte unbedingt Hauswein bestellen, da sonst die Flaschenweine mindestens das Doppelte kosten. Vor dem Abendessen empfiehlt sich auch ein kurzer Drink auf der tollen Dachterrasse des Hotels mit einem Superblick über Rom!

Great staff, great hotel
Perfect location for us, near American University, convenient to everything (tram across the street). Staff is incredibly nice. Breakfast buffet is fabulous (if unchanging), the whole place is cleaner than clean. Paolo the bartender is great! Rooms a bit small, but wee-appointed and bathrooms are super! We all had massages and overall it was super!

An excellent place to stay when on vacation.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and they spoke English well!!!! The restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner but it was not missed. There were so many other places to eat within walking distance.

Très bon séjour
Séjour parfait Le personnel est attentif, disponible et va au delà de notre attente. De bons conseils pour trouver des restaurants sympas.Le spa est top et la possibilité de le privatiser est un plus. Hotel très bien situé proche du tram n°8 qui permet de visiter la ville facilement.

Great location and fab breakfast
Location was perfect right nearby the #8 tram which takes you to the nearby hip eateries in Trastevere,and easily takes you into the heart of the historical center of Rome, where you can catch any bus to other locations. Great breakfast and beautiful hotel.

Restaurants everywhere and especially liked the Trastevere area because it was not in the jam packed touristy area but close enough to get there and we dined nearby every night.

A great hotel, a bit far from the center
Overall, this is a great hotel. Advertised on Orbitz as a three-star hotel it is actually a four-star one. Quiet and very clean, with great, helpful stuff (who helped me book a trip to Assisi from Rome). It's about a ten-minute walk from the heart of Trastevere, and about 20 minutes by bus and tram from Termini. There are hotels with better location in Rome--so if you have only a couple of days in the city and haven't seen the main attractions this is not necessarily the best option. On the other hand, hotels at the heart of the city are often very noisy. Finally, considering what you get here, it's also on the less expensive side.
