Great Hotel - Restaurant is a little high priced
The hotel was very nice and clean! The location was right near the action on Robson but also close to Gastown and other sights. The concierge staff was the best that I have experienced in a long time. The only down side was that the hotel restaurant was a little bit expensive for the quality - I would recommend checking out some of the other eateries right around the hotel.

The nicest hotel I've ever stayed at!
This was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. It puts other 5 star hotels to shame. Amazing quality, beautiful fabrics and textiles, and very stylish. The bathroom was the size of a hotel room itself, and the prettiest I've ever seen. This hotel should be 6 stars!

Excellent alternative
We visit the town for a couple of days while we were waiting for our Alaska cruise I knew Shangrila in Hong Kong and wanted to have my wife enjoy it in Vancouver, that while less grandiose is still an excellent choice for a fair luxury hotel

Vancouver Getaway
The hotel was very nice and the service was great. On the downside, there was little drawer space for a week stay by two people; ended up living out of suitcase the whole week. They did not have a regular coffee maker, just an expresso machine and since I drink alot of coffee, that was a nuisance. Everytime someone opened or close their room door, it would cause our door to rattle. The shower did not have pressure equalization valves, so everytime someone flushed a toilet in any of the nearby rooms, the water would momentarily turn red hot and then ice cold.
