fabulous in every way
Shangri-La is probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in anywhere in the world. Staff are extraordinary in every way. The best hotel choice in Vancouver by far.

The service and amenities at Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver were impeccable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly-the best that I have experienced. My stay far surpassed my expectations and I will definitely be returning.

Great location, nice hotel, constructive criticism
Located a short walk from the business district, restaurants and cafes, I enjoy the Shangri La. The rooms are typically nice, but I've had some issues that I believe could have been handled better had the staff been more proactive. In my opinion, it's a four star hotel with three star service.

Great stay!
Shangri La exceeded my expectations, first we were upgraded to executive room with huge balcony, shortly after we got to room we were greeted by special fruit basket from the stuff. Room has all gadgets you can imagine, espresso machine, automatic lighting and drape close. I couldn't resist beautiful smell you can feel in the hotel, they call it Shangri La scent and concierge explained, that that smell is used in all Shangri La hotels, so you feel home every time you step in. I truly recommend this hotel!

Great Hotel - Restaurant is a little high priced
The hotel was very nice and clean! The location was right near the action on Robson but also close to Gastown and other sights. The concierge staff was the best that I have experienced in a long time. The only down side was that the hotel restaurant was a little bit expensive for the quality - I would recommend checking out some of the other eateries right around the hotel.
