Not worth the money
The people were friendly and helpful - bu tthat was the only positive note. The curatins in my room didn't cover the entire window and were hanging off their track. They were broken and could not be rehung. The desk chair was broken. The bathrrom was dirty and still had hair from another guest. The breakfast was awful - the biscuits were chewy like they were days old. The eggs had sat in the pan a long time it seems and were crusty. I would not choose to stay there again until all is cleaned up. ALso, there isn't a good room service sincce the overall food is bad and the kitchen closes early. There are very few restaurants near by except a conveience store and a Subway sandwich shop.

Great Place
Had a great stay, scheduled for two nights only got to stay for one due to weather conditions.Didn't get to see much of inside or outside, from the few hrs I spent there were enjoyable.Staff were very helpful and rooms were very clean, comfortable beds quite.Would like to stay again with more time to explore.Thanks everyone

my favorite place to stay in Halifax - minutes away from Downtown but far enough to leave the noise behind. And a lake for a front yard...

The pool was open and was great
Over the next few years I will be travelling to Halifax 6 to 7 times yearly. My experience at this hotel was good, the staff were excellent and my wife and I enjoyed the experience.

Great Hotel
Excellent hotel. Very clean & quiet, beautiful room with a comfy king sized bed. Close to the shopping centre and only a short drive to downtown. Plus a very adorable resident chocolate lab!

Very good experience!
The location was convenient, not too far from the city centre, it was a clean hotel, awesome bed. Overall better than most 4 stars hotels.

Great hotel!
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was inviting and warm. There was a saltwater pool and a hot tub. Dining area was very nice. The room itself was clean and had everything we needed. There were computers in the lobby for guests to use which was very convenient. Shopping was just around the corner. Overall, our stay was excellent and would recommend the hote.

Halifax Experience!
The chocolate hotel was great! We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the easy access to downtown Halifax while staying in an low cost hotel. The staff were great, and the facilities were clean and great to use after a day of touring around. It would have been great to see a continental breakfast, and sometimes parking can be filled to the brim on the weekend, but otherwise it was great.

Halifax can be a zoo to park in. On Friday and Saturday nights take the first spot you see and be prepared to walk, or get downtown early. There is great nightlife so get out and enjoy it, but plan ahead so you can get there on time!
