Sunway Putra Hotel

Used to be called the Legend hotel, has been renamed Sunway Putra. Location is excellent. But very average or below average amenities. Fail to understand the 60RM daily WiFi costs. Very limited capacity pool and jacuzzi. The rooms are really spacious, but had an ancient cathode ray tube television, with poor quality video and very limited channels. Worst part about the room is - their plumbing/cistern system seems real inferior, every time a tenant upstairs flushes the toilet, you'll hear a long squeaky monotone, annoying and really tough to get some sleep at night with this . Our room was 3 rooms away from the elevator and there's also the constant sound of the elevator moving all the time. Would not stay here again. This is 3-star at best, cant believe how this can be a 5-star!!!

Stayed at the Hotel in 2010 and was so impressed with the facilities and service to rebook it again in 2011. The facilities and service were of a high standard and the breakfast menu was excellent. The Hotel is situated above a shopping mall and very close to two railway stations.

已经是很陈旧的酒店了，作为一个号称四星级的酒店，竟然只有12个电视频道。因为靠近PWTC，经常有会展的缘故，酒店根本不担心入住率，所以服务可以想象。入住是预授权的时竟然扣了我分别扣了我两次各600美圆。 早餐品种比较单一，基本是没有什么可以选择的。由于边上两条轻轨，所以非常吵闹。

Nice pool and the lobby is impressive but my room was quite basic. It looked more like a room in a three star hotel.

12/31、1/1の2泊。景色、プールを望める部屋。31はプールサイドでのnew year eveパーティーの音が少しうるさかったが仕方ない。ちなみに部屋のバルコニーの窓は2重だった。朝食は種類はあるが正直なところ味はイマイチ。卵料理は都度調理してくれた。目の前に駅もあり移動には特に不自由はない。ホテル下のモールのショップはローカルが多く、地下のスーパー（cold storage）以外はあてにならない。プールとジムの設備は良いが営業が7～21時なのが使いづらい。サウナ（温、ミスト）あり。帰りはホテル前のタクシーでLCCTまで100リンギ。

Overall me and my wife enjoyed our stay at the legend esspecially the 50% off from the buffet dinner and the service is really good. All the hotel staff are friendly and polite. The only things I would like to comments is my experience during the night that I went to 7 eleven near the hotel the smell of the river along Jalan Putra is horrible and I really hope the authority act fast on this matter otherwise all the ratings given to any hotels will definitely useless being the surrounding that shows negative impact to Kuala Lumpur.

access to lobby was on the ninth floor, somewhat inconvenient; there were no slippers provided until we asked the front desk; bath tub was slippery near the end away from the shower head, we both slipped but luckily we didn't hurt our head, but I hurt my foot; room is reasonably good and good size, but there weren't enough power sockets for today's technology-savvy clients who want to lay on the bed and do some computer work; the worst inconvenience was that there was no complimentary internet connection, which is now generally provided free in the U.S. one thing good about it is that the hotel is right next to the light rail, quite convenient for travelling around KL.

My 3rd time @ The Legend Hotel. And as usual, very satisfied with both the hotel the crew. The only gripe I have is that the hotel does not offer and free internet service, which most hotels offer now. However, the Starbucks at The Mall below does have free wi-fi access.
