Atlanta Hotel Amsterdam

the first day of our stay we had a room facing the rembramtsplein. great view but terrible noise all the night! next mornig talked to the staff about it and they offered us kindly another room facing a really small court made of concrete and pipes. lousy view, but quiet and double size of the first room. staff was really nice!

A great short stay place. Location is convenenient to everything. Rooms are small, as they are in many European independent hotels. The hotel is up a steep flight of stairs from ground level and the entrance is between two restaurants extending into Rembrandtplein. Air conditioning not present and this would be a problem in hotter months. Our room smelled like french fries due to the exhausts from the adjoining restaurants outside our window. If you are looking for location and price, this is it. If you must have conveniences such as a lift, fridge, microwave and A/C, then go elsewhere.

The hotel is perfectly located, easy access to the main attractions in AMS. However, rooms are very small, old, but the staff is nice and kind.

The hotel is in a very good location. Though unfortunately that is about all that is going for it. It is quite basic, my room had a shared shower room. The room was pretty cold - the heating wasn't turned on despite the outside temperature being -8C! The place has clearly not been renovated for decades either!

This hotel is mostly for young people who can normally afford to stay in a hostel but want they're own room. The location is next to a party area (lots of noise at all times!) and the room I stayed in had to use the floor's shared bathroom and shower. Plus the stairs are incredibly steep and staying on the third floor is quite a workout. Still, the price compared to what hostels wanted wasn't too expensive and if you are in Amsterdam for a good time the location is great. Just don't expect a quaint relaxing place.

The hotel is a little smelly. There is this old cigarette stench in the hotel. Also keep in mind that it is has limited ventilation and can be pretty warm inside in the summer. The location is great though, right in the middle of Amsterdam. You can walk or bike everything from there.

locate at the suitable for chatting with friends and convienence for moving around the city with tram.

Located right in front of Rembrant Square with a tram station, plenty of cafe and restaurants. Rooms are clean and beds are comfordable. Our room does not come with attached bathroom, we need to share the bathroom and toilet outside the corridor, but they are clean. A little noisy from the cafe down the street if you don't mind. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Be prepare to walk up the steep staircase with your luggage as they don't have a lift in the hotel. Overall, this is a good hotel to stay in the city and I don't mind to come back again.

Ett ganska slitet hotell som borde fräschas upp. Den så kallade rikliga frukostbuffén bestod av 2 sorters bröd och pålägg juice och kaffe!! Det rummet jag hade luktade konstant avlopp.
