After you see the gas station at your left side, arriving at the roundabout go left, up the Avenue dos Descobrimentos. Arriving at the two clocks roundabout continue straight ahead. At the roundabout with a sculpture portraing two giant worms, continue straight ahead. You'll arrive at the next roundabout with a big sphere. At this roundabout turn right towards Balaia. At the next roundabout turn right. The Hotel is 80 metres on your right side.

Good enough
I went with my family and we found a clean hotel with a nice location, very close to the beach and the town center. The hotel is not luxurious but good enough for one day. The best thing is the location and the cleanliness. I would stay there again.

Lovely friendly hotel
Loved this hotel. 5 minute walk down to lovely cove, with restaurants looking over the beach. 5 minutes walk to 'The Strip' which is a row of bargain drinking bars and restaurants, with virtually all showing football - if you like that sort of thing. Easy to avoid this one street if you don't and the noise doesn't travel to the hotel. Bus stop and taxi rank opposite and taxi into lovely old town is only 5 euro's and worth the trip. Lovely bars and restaurants and browsing shops. Reminded us of Greece. All white wash and traditional. Hotel is great. Staff are lovely. Rooms are spotless. Air conditioning works. Kitchenette is a nice additional space, compared to the usual small hotel room. Pool is nice and you can get breakfast down their for a couple of euro's. The walk up and down to cove and in the old town is very hilly, so I wouldn't recommend this area for disabled or infirm travellers. Cove is perfect for families. Small enough for kids to have freedom and water sports for teenagers.

Restaurant-Tipp:
Short drive from hotel
Definitely try Bravo steak restaurant in the old town square, on the right as you walk down from the taxi rank. It's not cheap, but it is worth it!! The Porterhouse steak was worth every penny and the Portugese steak was fab!! Also try a cocktail, just to get the extra long straws ;-) Enjoy!!!
