The Perfect Getaway
The Perfect Hotel for that most needed getaway trips. This hotel sits on top of a perfect hill. The hotel gives you access to a beach that was all most private. The Pools are beautiful with a series of bridges and water falls. The hotel has three pools. Two out side and one inside that is heated for all year around use. There are two bars. One bar by the pool with beautiful view of the ocean and outside pool area. The other is inside with live music every night. The rooms are an average size room with king size bed, Balcones and marble bathrooms. The hotel has secure parking and easy access to local small town shops and dinning. The hotel staff is what makes your stay! The staff speaks five languages and are very personal remembering little details on how you like your café, room and even your favorite bar drink. This hotel is only a four star hotel but is every thing that a five star should be.

Eat in the hotel! Buffet style of eating with breakfast and lunch being free. Dinner for two is about 24 Euro. For drinks happy hour will have you dancing in no time with 2 Euro drinks mixed, straight or even beer.

Views to die for
The Porto Bay Falesia, located on a cliff over looking the water, was a vision from start to finish. Staring out the windows all one could see was the water. The rocky cliffs down which you traverse on the stairs are magnificant. The beach is all you could ask for in a beautiful and relaxing view. It was close to local not too touristy shops and restaurants. Please sample the local cuisine while there, it is wonderful. I wish there had been more to watch on television at night than the news but then again I wasn't there to see television. The large salt water pool out front was surrounded by chaise loungers more than ample for the number of people. Don't by pass a trip to the spa and a wonderfully relaxing massage.
