Florida Hotel Lisbon

Exceptional interior design!

hotel tres bien , seul bémol la salle de bain (vetuste et froide) par rapport au reste.

Nous avons passé la semaine de Noël au Florida et nous sommes ravis. L'hôtel est bien situé au pied du métro et du bus allant à Belem, le personnel est agréable, la chambre était très grande, propre et calme. Le petit déjeuner hyper copieux et gratuit pour les enfants. Je recommande fortement.

Bon hôtel, chambres spacieuses et propres,petits déjeuners copieux, proximité immédiate des bus et métros, proche de l'aéroport, mais odeurs très désagréables d'égoût par moment dans la salle de bain....

The room I received was the smallest on the floor but more annoying was that it looked over a fetid air shaft and the air conditioning was turned off when I arrived. It took awhile for a staff member to come to the room to explain how to activate the a/c (I was unfamiliar with the remote controlling it.) Then I was advised of a nearby restaurant which was very pricey and had a basket of obviously stale bread on the table to begin with. I was glad my stay was for one night only.

l'hôtel mal situé, difficile à trouver. nous avons eu 1 chambre familiale côté cour avec des travaux dès 7h. l'hôtel sans parking (possibilité de se parquer à l'hôtel voisin à 15 euro la journée)

We really liked the Florida; the room was larger and had nicer fixtures than most European hotels in this price range, as well as a huge, comfortable bed and nice design sense. The cinema theme was imaginative and well done. The only thing I didn't like was that wi-fi wasn't included; the charge was 5 euros per day, and my husband and I couldn't both use it to check our email - it kept logging one of us out. Really should have free wi-fi these days. Location was perfect - right by the Marques de Pombal metro stop and a taxi queue.

When we arrived to check-in, the room was not ready for us immediately so we walked around a bit and had some lunch while our bags were held for us at the hotel. When we returned, our room was ready, however, the electricity in the room didn't work. After calling down to reception and then asking someone in the hall to fix it, the situation was resolved. With the exception of the not-so-awesome service the hotel was nice. No big bells and whistles but in a good location, about a 10-15 minute walk to the city center. The bed was a little hard, but so are most European beds. Overall though, it was obvious the bathroom had been updated, which was nice, and it was quite clean and comfortable. Not a bad pick for the price, and of course, themed-hotels are always fun, but perhaps don't come here if you're "high-maintenance", it may not be what you're looking for... I would rate this 4-star hotel closer to a 3 1/2, but fun for easy-going, movie-loving people!

Great hotel, good price. Big room!

This is a smart hotel. However it has no restaurant and there is not much choice in the vicinity. The "diner", close by, whose menus are in all the rooms is atrocious... Breakfast is very good and the rooms are comfortable. With no restaurant, the location counts against this hotel.
