A long-established name in the local dining scene, the restaurant has garnered many awards over the years. Traditional recipes take on a refreshing interpretation with dishes such as Peking duck served with jade green crepes made from spinach, and rice fried with both crab meat and fish roe. Unusual ingredients like champagne, flower buds, Japanese mushrooms and wasabi are also used in concoctions which are novel yet familiar.

Eher unfreundliches Personal (Front-Desk, Bellman) sowie diverse kleinere technische Probleme (mit WIFI, Klimaanlage, TV) das zwar nach Aufforderung behoben wurde, aber dennoch Zeitraubend ist und nervt. Am Schluss dann noch eine falsche Rechnung. Gibt in Singapore diverse bessere Optionen fürs selbe Geld.

good location but rather old hotel. Internet very expensive. And a bit a hassle with checkout as they wanted to get me out of the room by 11.00am, which they say their standard checkout time is..... 12.00 noon is standard in 5 stars.... not sure whether I would want to stay again.

The hotel is located in the heart of Orchid and close to great shopping. MRT station is close by so getting around the city is easy. Hotel is around 25 minutes away.

Nice hotel, great location in heart of Orchard Rd among shops, restaurants! Staff cordial and courteous, however, when requesting any service (e.g. housekeeping, bellman, etc.), allow ample time as it takes 15-45 minutes for someone to respond!

in a town full of great hotels this hotel is a star . Excellent service,a lovely room and a beautiful facility make this a must stay. The gowned hostesses and gracious concierge make asking questions fun, they go the extra mile. Well done Mandarin Oriental!

Great Hotel to stay in
Very Clean, bathroom needs always re-stocked. I stayed for 7 night. loved it. Although food prices very expensive. Literally signatured shops is at 1st level of hotel. has convenience store at 1st level of hotel. I just want to mention that singapore is really an expensive city to visit but I had a wonderful time in this hotel. The one thing I wanted for improvement was their gym needs more weights. They heaviest dumbell they had was 6lbs. I would make this hotel my home in Singapore. My room was $97 USD per night

Chinese new year in Singapore
Born, raised in Singapore (but moved away in the last years) so you can trust this feedback cos I know what's good/bad as a standard. Location=FAB, Room=FAB, Cleaniness=FAB (I even dared to take a bath in the tub, Front Desk=Moderate, though gave me the wrong info abt not having 24hours Starbucks. Overall a great experience, except when leaving. Being CNY, there's was a chaos of guests leaving. I was told by staff it is better to book a cab and asked that I wait in the hall for the cab to arrive. I kinda kept my eyes on the bus boy and did not see him making any call. When I approached another staff I was told it is not possible to book a cab and better to just stand in line and wait. I'd rather be told upfront then having to wait around and told that's not the case. Think the crazinesss was just too much for the staff to handle. Bottomline, with the price I paid for, it doesn't dampen my experience. And I can be pretty sure I wouldn't be as lucky to get such deal again.

Amazing!!
I had a great time in this hotel!! and its loation is very good. it seems like all shops where you can buy anythining are located around this hotel. especillay luxry brands are there, Gucci, Armani, Cartier etc..
