Almina Hotel Istanbul

Das Hotel hat Charme und ist gut gelegen! Die Zimmer sind klein, aber schön eingerichtet und sauber. Unser Zimmer lag leider gleich neben der Bahnstrecke (ab 6 Uhr rasseln die Züge durch). Das nächste Mal würde ich bei der Buchung ein Zimmer auf der anderen Seite verlangen. Das Esszimmer bietet eine schöne Aussicht, so auch die Terrasse oben. Im Sommer muss dies fantastisch sein! Das Frühstück hat uns alles geboten, was wir brauchen. Der Spa-Bereich war während unseres Besuches leider nicht in Betrieb. Da würde ich mich vorgängig erkundigen, wenn die Sauna wichtig ist. Die Betreuung (Reception) war sehr hilfsbereit und unterstützend. Sie haben uns immer gute Tipps und Empfehlungen gegeben.

Decent place on charming old-world street. Free breakfast was good. Room spotless, newish furniture and bathroom elements. Free wifi. Nice rooftop terrace. I thought it was a good value, and located really well for exploring old Istanbul: hagia sophya, blue mosque, grand bazarre. One caveat: it is right on the train tracks on the south side, where all the rooms face. Trains come by a lot. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper, but this might really bother a light sleeper.

accueil excellent, personnel tres agreable et prevenant; se mettant " en 4" pour nous aider! 1 personne a l'accueil manque d'amabilité mais c'est compensé par les autres!! chambre pas tres grande mais confortable, sdb petite mais fonctionnelle et tres propre buffet petit dejeuner copieux, varié, tres bien un petit moins : la terrasse n'est pas couverte et pour le verre le soir en regardant le bosphore, c'etait raté!! mais elle est belle et l'été cela doit etre super; dans l'ensemble bon hotel, bon rapport qualité prix;

as if my stay in Istanbul could have been any better. this hotel is great! the staff is wonderful and very helpful. you won't regret you stay here. you are 5 minutes away from the blue mosque, basilica cistern and hagia sofia. ten minutes away from topkapi palace. hotel was awesome.

Extrèmement bien placé, mais comme désavantage d'avoir une ligne de chemin de fer à l'arrière et une petite ruelle assez vivante à l'avant. Personnellement nous avions mon épouse et moi une chambre sur la ruelle, le bruit est supportable... Belle chambre, propre et déjeuner copieux avec fruits frais et, pour un dernier verre avant de se coucher, superbe terrasse sur le toit avec grande vue sur le bosphore. A deux pas des principaux sites à visiter. Bon acceuil.

The hotel was close to all the mayor attractions, a few blocks from Blue Mosque and Agia Sofia, short walk to nice restaurants, but the Hotel is besides the train railway, the first day was impossible to sleep. The staff friendly and helpfull.Free wireless internet in the rooms and included breakfast buffet.

This place is directly next to the train tracks, so unless a rumbling commuter train every 10 minutes helps you fall asleep, take my advice and avoid this place! If you really want to say here at least insist on being on the side of the building facing away from the tracks, though they will try to talk you out of this by saying the road is just as loud - (it's not). The night door man was using the room adjacent to mine as some kind of by-the-hour flophouse, I'd get back to my room and see shady looking couples hanging outside my door and waiting their turn - should I really give you any more details? The hall lights were often turned off so it was challenging to find your way back to your room, maybe to save on the electricty bills. They forgot my wake up call, which really annoyed me. This might be a good deal for $50 - $70 a night, as the location is otherwise good, the rooms are well furnished and the breakfast buffet was nice. However pay more than that and you're going to feel ripped off.

We chose this hotel because it allowed us to walk wherever we wanted in old town Istanbul. The hotel did not disappoint us - it was perfectly located by the Blue Mosque. It is next to the train tracks, so ask for a room on the road side. Tell them you do not want a room next to the rail road tracks.

Nice place, rooms are small. A train in right next to the hotel and makes it a bit loud. The breakfast is more of a continental breakfast with hot scrambled eggs.

Great Hotel in an excellent location, very close to all the sights. No hidden surprises everything is as explained on the internet. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast varied and plentiful. Rooms small but clean and well presented with lovely bathroom, would definately book again.
