Greate Location but Hotel needs work....
The location is excellent and walking distance to many attractions. The street next to the hotel is full of restaurants (very touristic) but practical. The Hotel is not very clean and needs refurbishment considering what they charge. However the staff are nice and helpful

For a relaxed evening, just walk toward the Sutlanahmet mosque (at the right end of Kabasaki Cd), you will find a very nice outdoor Turkish cafe/restaurant with live music and Malawi show, have Nergila and enjoy it..

Great location, quiet area and very close to local attractions. Very good water views from rooftop terrace. Would certainly stay here again.

Great Istanbul Hotel
Great hotel in a fantastic location for enjoying the Blue Mosque, Haja Sofia, Topkapi, Grand Bazaar. Clean, comfortable, very helpful staff, and the breakfasts on the rooftop were a perfect way to start the day. A bit noisy at night from the people on the street. Would return to this hotel in a heartbeat.

We were pleased by the staff behaviour
We were pleased by the staff behaviour especially Mr. Sinan Cam. The restaurant was placed in a beautiful area with the most wonderful view on the Bosforos. The quality of the restaurant services was very good. We regret that we cannot remember the name of the reastaurant staff but the services were the best.

Great Location
Nice hotel with good breakfast. Most tables have Marmara Sea view, but if you go around the side you can see the Blue Mosque. [...]I'd say if you pay a lot for this place you'll be diasppointed. Pay a reasonalbe rate, and you'll be reasonably satisfied. My value rating is useless if you don't know what I paid. The rooms are pleasantly decorated.

Galata Bridge restaurants offer exceptional evening views. There are so many restaurants with the same menu, that they will fight to give you the best price. Take your girlfriend, wife, or mistress there.

Excellent room in great location
This hotel is located in Sultanamet, and quite convenient for visiting the Blue Mosque, Saint Sophia, Topkapi, the Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazaar. The rooms are clean, with TV, safe, shower. There is a restaurant but no exercise facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful with tours. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from the airport.

We were in Istanbul for our vacation. Overall experience was good except the description that this hotel is a luxury hotel is far feteched.

I would recommend this hotel.
They picked us up at the airport as we agreed for a fee. Staff was friendly, hotel was in excellent location. Staff members [...] and [...] handled our minor problems on time. Thank you for that. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

A good location to explore the old city. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Tap water is undrinkable and they charge for bottled water in the room. Guidebooks say that airport transport is free but it's not... it costs 30 euro each way

Location good; staff isn't.
We called the hotel in advance to secure a double bed and were assured one would be saved for us. Not so. Throughout stay most of staff were uninterested and unhelpful. Only one staff member was even friendly. Room was small and temperature uncomfortable. The staff at reception said the air conditioning was turned off for the whole hotel; we later found that not to be true. Great location. Computer internet did not work - staff would not adress issue - just indifferent. Terrace for breakfast is beautiful and breakfast is plentiful. Appreciated historical background of hotel. No workout room or pool. Wouldn't have minded lack of amenities if overall hotel staff had been either helpful or friendly.
