Erguvan Hotel Istanbul

ein einfaches, rustikales Hotel mit sehr guter Lage, ganz in der nähe der Sultan Ahmed und der Blauen Moscheen. Es ist ein Altbau somit hört man zuviel mit was die anderen Gäste imn ihren Zimmern tun.

La situation de l'hôtel est excellente, à 2mn de la Mosquée Bleue, 5mn de Ste Sophie et de Topkapi. Personnel très aimable et serviable, beaucoup de renseignements touristiques sont donnés, les chambres sont très propres et confortables, bien que un peu petites. Petit déjeuner copieux servi sur la terrasse avec une superbe vue sur le Bosphore d'un côté et sur la Mosquée Bleue de l'autre côté.De nombreux restos sympas dans le quartier aussi!

For a four-star hotel as Erguvan was advertised on your website, I had a small room with an extremely small bathroom with a tiny shower in it. Out of the 5 nights I spent here, I had no hot running water on two nights. No special amenities that you would expect from a four star hotel except the magnificent view from the breakfast area on the top floor. So don't expect anything extraordinary and you'll be fine. I won't stay here again.

La position de l'hôtel, dans le quartier de Sultanhammet, nous a permis de rayonner très facilement sur les différents sites (à pied ou en transport en commun proche). Le personnel a été de bon conseil pour constituer notre emploi du temps. Les horaires des repas sont souples et la nourriture est bonne et variée. Le personnel parle parfaitement anglais.

Overall the hotel a pleasant surprise. We booked based on a reccomendation from another on-line travel contact. The location was amazing, fairly quiet at night but just a few steps from the center of old town Istanbul. The rooftop breakfast was always a pleasant morning experience although the food was a little too local for our tastes. I usually don't consider breakfast as an adventure (wrong time of day)! We did have a minor issue with our airconditioning system that took 2 days to fix but it was not from lack of trying on the part of the staff. Take them up on their airport shuttle service. That way when you step out of the door or the hotel, you are instantly in Istanbul! The staff were very helpful and assited in arranging guides, tours and reccomendations. Definatley adds to the Istanbul experience! Will use them next time!

Lo mejor la cercanía con el barrio antiguo 3 minutos, el desayuno bufet, espectacular, el personal atento y servicial, la decoración muy bonita y servicio de internet gratis en el hall, super recomendable es la segunda vez que visito Estambul , si vuelvo repetiría sin dudarlo.

Had a great stay. Everything interesting in Sultanamet is within walking distance.

This hotel is centrally located to all the great local sites. The breakfast was ample and nice. The staff was very courteous and attentive. Our room on the third floor had a view of the Sea of Marmara. The view from the terrace (4th floor) is absolutely gorgeous - the Sea of Marmara and the Blue Mosque! The room has a nice big safe big enough to put a laptop in for security.

We were warmly greeted at the hotel and ushered quickly to our room which was appreciated since it was evening and we were tired. Although the room was small, it was spotlessly clean and modern. The hotel is equal to a small European family-run establishment, and we were quite pleased that we stayed there. The breakfast buffet is large and varied, and the view from the terrace is magnificent. The water in Istanbul is not potable and that's an inconvenience, but we were able to walk across the street and buy several large inexpensive bottles of water. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to friends and family!

The hotel was located very close to the main tourist attractions in the area. The rooms were comfortable and not too small. The staff was very helpful and provided recommendations on restaurants, transportation and tourism . We were satisfied.
