You can't beat the location. Perfect for touring the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Cisterns, and everything else in the old city. Just make sure you don't get the first room on the ground floor. It's a little noisy with the hotel bar and sidewalk just a few inches outside the window. Nice staff.

Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de l'hôtel et des hotes dévoués et souriants. Supers les levers du soleil sur la Mosquée bleue et les couchers sur Aya Sophia. Nous avons pratiquement tout visité à pied en toute liberté! On nous y reprendra. Merci à vous. Norbert.

Hotelli täydellinen sijaintinsa puolesta. Portierit taas olivat oma lukunsa... Matkustamme paljon ja tapamme on aina printata kaikki sopimamme. Niin nytkin. Hotelli lupasi ilmaiset kuljetukset lentokentältä ja takaisin sinne, portieri yritti meitä laskuttaa. Pelästyi, kun esitimme käymämme kirjeenvaihtomme hotellin johtajan kanssa.Saapuessamme hotelliin oli minibaarimme tyhjä, kerroimme asiasta kahdelle vastaanoton työntekijälle ja onneksi niin, sillä lähdönhetkellä siitäkin yritettiin rahastaa. Istanbulin hotellit tapaavat ylibuukata aina, niin tämäkin. Saimme tosin viettää lomamme ensipäivät toisessa hotellissa, sviitissä, parvekkeellisessa loistossa.... ja toki hotellin laskuun. Eli nautinnollista lomaa, kunhan muistaa varmistaa ja varautua.

This hotel was in an excellent location for visiting all the main sites including the Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Market. Trams ran past the door with stops either just up the hill or a short walk down the hill. Room was a good size - older style but comfortable. Only issue, the airconditioning was ineffective so in the height of summer room may be unpleasant. Windows do open so lots of fresh air though. Breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is exceptional. So near to 4 of the most interesting places to be visited, that is, the Blue Mosque. St. Sophia museum, Topcapi and the underground cathedral cistern. These can be visited on foot from the hotel. Many restuarants (Turkish cuisine ) in the area. The tram line station is only about 150 metres away. The hotel staff are all very polite and very helpful even if one or two of them cannot speak english. The hotel needs to be seen to, as there are some items that need to be renewed. The room we had was quite spacious, although the bathroom needs refurbishing. We wish to thank all the staff for the help and cordiality given to us, especially Murat, Fatih. Metin, Sarkan. We think the only drawback was the praying from the mosque on the loud speaker, mainly the first prayers that start at 4.45 am. On the whole it was a very enjoyable holiday.

Good location at tourists 'hot' site. Transport is easy, tram station - Sultanahmet/Gulhane is within a walking distance. Nice breakfast and friendly staffs too! Money changer and restaurants are all nearby.

Perfect location - next to Haggia Sofia. The 4 ground floor rooms are not shielded from noise from Reception, so it can be noisy late at night (returning guests, Reception calls, etc) and early morning (guests going to breakfast). Staff are very friendly and courteous.

Piccolo ma confortevole hotel, personale gentilissimo, ottima posizione e comodo al tram veloce. Colazione un po' scarsa e con solo pane, nessuna torta o brioches! Sul salato un po' più varia. Comodo il bollitore in camera dove potersi fare un tè in qualunque momento. Nel complesso consigliabile se vi accontentate della colazione.

I have to commend the hotel staff for their superb job at taking very good care of my friend and I while visiting Turkey. They truly care about the well-being of their guests and went to great lengths to ensure our well-being.
