Baiyoke Sky Hotel

Gemäss Fotos war das Hotel genial. schön gepflegt schön eingerichtet und einfach nur schön. als wir dann dort waren hatten sie nicht mehr mal das von uns gebuchte zimmer zur verfügung wir mussten dann mehr bezahlen und ein superior zimmer nehmen, dieses war eine riesige enttäuschung. es war zwar ein grosses zimmer, jedoch die ausstattung war sehr alt. die matratze war mit spannfedern ausgerüstet und das hat man die ganze nacht gemerkt. das morgenessen war übel und das restaurant oben im turm war überhaupt nicht schön und gut. also ich bin enttäuscht von diesem hotel. das beste war die lage.

dieses Hotel ist ein Wechselbad der Gefühle, manches Spitze, manches auf Jugendherbergsniveau. Das Personal ist unglaublich bemüht und freundlich, aber völlig überfordert und extrem schlecht ausgebildet. Die Küche auf Sterne-Niveau, aber sehr schwierig dranzukommen, Besuchermassen, nur mit Vorreservierung, Katzentische für Hotelbewohner, extrem gewöhnungsbedürftig. Funk- und Internet per Handy/UMTS/HSPA werden vom Haus blockiert, nach 30 Sekunden hat einen der hauseigene Verbindungskiller gefunden und abgeschnitten, trotz 5 Balken keine Arbeit möglich. Man muss auf das superteure aber gute hauseigene Internet (10 € pro Tag !!!!!!) zurückgreifen. Unser Zimmer aus den frühen 80er Jahren, fleckiger Teppichboden, verwohnt und vergilbt (Deluxe-Room Sky Zone), aber sehr sauber gehalten. Der Pool sehr schön, aber um 20:00 Uhr bereits geschlossen. Meine Empfehlung: Ein Hotel für 1-2 Tage, traumhafte Aussicht, muss man mal gesehen haben, das reicht dann aber auch.

Cela vaut la peine d y aller une fois pour la vue imprenable sur Bangkok mais à part cela, c est l usine ! Trop de monde, service impersonnel, on perd pas mal de temps dans les ascenseurs... Sinon, malgré tout bien situé (au coeur de Pratunam) mais accès difficile à cause du trafic routier et le métro (Phaya Thaï) est possible à pied mais sans bagages. Nous préférons de loin le Siam City Hôtel tout près de Phaya Thaï.

Hotel was ok but nothing special for the over inflated prices charged on everything within. I had planned to stay at the same hotel upon my return to Bangkok but opted for a better hotel. I’d give this one a pass and spend the extra dollars on something better Restaurants are ok but when we went for a very expensive buffet dinner they were more focused in closing and clearing it off that providing a an experience. Paid full price for half a dinner.... disappointing Pool area needs some upkeep also. Very poor.

One of the better Hotels in which I stayed while in Thailand. Very central and a great value. I would recommend this hotel if staying in Bangkok as its close to the BTS and airport train.

Reasonable hotel they charge for everything but it is in the middle of all the shopping

A modern hotel finished in the 2000s? The first impression is the impressive height of the building and that is about all that is good. The decor looks like it's from the early 90s, not 2000s. The breakfast, although extensive, is expensive and literally is cleaned away at 10am on the dot... after taking our money at ten minutes to ten. There is a great opportunity to have a drink at the highest bar in Thailand... again, the 'space' theme is a bit shabby, the furniture is rubbish, the music intrusive, the drinks are very expensive and the staff aren't particularly helpful or polite. Could actually be made into the best bar in Thailand but they have just got the whole thing so so so wrong. Room-wise, we paid extra to stay in the 'sky zone'. The view from the small window in the room was impressive... but it was too small. Shower had a dodgy suppy of water and would go from powerful to weak, boiling to freezing during the shower. Otherwise the room was comfy etc, what you would expect for the money. In summary... Comfy bed, great views. Everything else a bit shabby and over priced.

well, unfortunately İ did not enjot my stay at baiyoke sky hotel. the room was very bad. İ t was even a hardly 2starhotel. They even charge us about the bangkok map they put into our rooms. they even did not mention that it is 250baht per each. the staff were toorude. especially the lady sitting at the cehck out desk. we did not enjoy our hotel. and İ dont recommend this hotel to antbody.

This hotel's in need of a lot of loving. Everything is old and outdated. The furniture in my room was covered in stains and I had the most uncomfortable couch I've ever sat on. The views out of your window are incredible though, and you can head up to the viewing deck for free. The hotel did not honour the booking I made online and told me on the day of my departure that they would charge me an extra 1200 THB for the one night I stayed there. I was very dissapointed they did not tell me about this extra charge when I checked in, otherwise I would have looked for another hotel.
