I've attended a conference held in downtown Montgomery. Decent hotels in downtown area were all booked up. The conference offered a hotel with a discount, but it was still $129/night which was over my budget. This motel is not too far away from downtown, very cheap, a typical motel, but met my basic needs. For a person, couple, or familiy who just need a place to rest, sleep, grab a very simple breakfast, and leave, this motel will meet your needs. A microwave and refrigerator were in the room.

this was an ok place. kinda scary looking at night and our room was right next to the street so it was hard for me to get some rest. also you can hear every single person opening and closing their car doors. even though it looked kinda scary almost everyone there were families of 4 or more, with young and older children so it made it seem alot more safe, knowing that your not the only family there. breakfast was ok but laquinta doesnt usually have great breakfast. as a one nighter it was alright.

Our room was absolutely filthy. Brown scum in tub. Bathroom floor was disgustingly sticky to walk on, had to throw down towels to cover it. Coffee pot in room was very dirty, had not been cleaned. Black stains and old grounds in pot, dried up used filter with grounds in basket. Black scum in basket. Couldn't use it. Really nothing good to say about this place. Will never go back. We chose this place because it was reasonably close to a good hospital. I had a severe allergic reaction to some food requiring a trip to the ER and wanted to stay in town overnight to make sure the reaction didn't return, before we started driving home.
We have stayed in very nice hotels in Montgomery in the past for the same price or less. Won't make this mistake again!!

The hotel was in a good location for what I was going out of town for. It had a nice whirlpool but was over crowded. The breakfast was ridiculous. It was not a complimentary breakfast and they didn't have a price posted, and they charged you $11 plus tax for breakfast and was not that good. On previous trips the breakfast has always been complimentary.

The hotel staff were nice. The room we stayed in was really nice and clean. The view from the balcony was centered around the pool area. Nice and quiet, great amenities.Check-in and check-out was fast and quick! I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for four days and I was satisfied overall. When I stayed the first night, I was not too comfortable with the linens on my bed, as I'm very particular and found small things like a couple of eyelashes on my comforter but they immediately changed the linens. The bed was comfortable, the bed linens were high quality, and the decor of the room was beautiful. The wifi came in handy and there was microwave and fridge in the room. I also liked the friendliness of the staff.

Everything was fine except for breakfast. At 6:30 am, biscuits and gravy were cold. Buns were warm but frozen on the inside. A little out of the way for Maxwell AFB. Staff was very professional and helpful at all times. Great cookies in the evening.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites wasn't quite what we were expecting. It was difficult to see the road to the entrance in the dark. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The hallways had a smoking smell and the room air conditioner had a difficult time keeping the room at a constant temperature.

We were travelling for the holidays with an 8 month old, and stopped here for the evening. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was substantially better than typical hotel breakfasts.

This hotel looked absolutely great in pictures but when you go there, it's terrible. I paid extra for a fridge and microwave and neither worked. The bed was terrible, the place was dusty and dirty and many things did not work in this hotel. It is not a $45 hotel.

We had a good stay at la Quinta, the staff were very nice the breakfast was plentiful and nice. The room could have been a bit cleaner though, there were stains on the carpet and it needed a good vacuum. Other than that it was a cheap easy to get places stay.

Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay, and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the next week, another weekly rate is charged. However, even though many people decide to stay with us for months, many guests staying less than one week find us less expensive than traditional hotels. Room fees and a 100.00 USD refundable deposit are due at time of arrival. The 100.00 USD deposit is charged upon move in even if the room is placed on a credit card hold. Deposit is refunded at move out pending no damages or owed charges. Front desk hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-2PM and closed Sunday. After hours move-in must call extension 500 and the security guard will be paged to assist guests. Enjoy your stay in a clean, safe, and economical environment.

Nice staff, but some people stay there a week or two, they have no entertainment fitness center, breakfast bar, pool area, if you wanted to sit at the hotel you would be bored out of your mind, I even had to take out my own trash, the maid services act like it was her toilet paper when I ask for a roll, had to ask for fresh towels. The BEDS hard it felt like the matress was choking my back, the hallways stinks there is a smell I don't Lysol would make better! And win my trip ended sooner than my expected travel plans they wouldn't refund my money by a day!!!

This hotel is located across the street from a busy truck stop. When I arrived there with my wife and two year old daughter, two women of questionable employment were in the middle of an arguement with a hotel worker. We decided to stay somewhere else. I am surprised and disturbed that this hotel is listed on the website and recommended.

Overall good stay. Was a little disappointed with the breakfast and the room was very small...but I for the price it was a good deal. I would stay there again. Very clean room, but a little outdated.

Arrived about 4:30 to check in. Elderly Indian woman behind front desk was barely understandable. Asked us several times what floor we wanted. After telling her it didn't matter, we were given a room on the 3rd floor. Room had only 1 bed (we had 3 adults). Returned to front desk and were questioned several times about the state of the room. After convincing her we had only opened the door and left-did not even go in the room-we were given a smoking room (non-snoking had been reserved). We stayed but after a few minutes someone else tried to enter.
Went back to the desk and she said she forgot we were already there. Returned to room and key did not work. Back to desk to have key redone. Room was small, carpet very dirty, empty beer can behind refrig, tub was stained and chipped, bedside lights didn't work until we figured out they were unplugged. Breakfast was a few mini bagels and muffins, 2 kinds of cereal. Only margarine and grape jelly available, most of the small containers of margarine were so old the tops were coming off.

This hotel was call something else prior to Ramada buying it. However, it appears that Ramada has not bother to upgrade this hotel to its normal standards. The hotel actually steals it WI-FI from a neighboring hotel. The lobby is the only place you would consider to be a least 3 star. This hotel is not modern and has not been upgraded in a while.

The carpet was filthy and it also had a hole in it. The refridgerator was unclean. I went to the office and reported this when I arrived and the person at the desk stated that they do not shampoo carpet but it had been vacuumed which wasn't good enough for me. I asked her to send someone up to re-clean the room and she said she would but no one came. I cleaned the fridge and cabinets myself but I will never stay there again. I have stayed in many hotels and they have all been clean.

Don't stay in an ajacent room. The noise level is too high. The place was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. A/C and TV were very good. They did respond to a problem at 4am.

It was okay for a for a place to sleep for a night. The price was a real plus. The location was good with many well known restaurants close by. I did not like it well enough for a return stay.

Our room was nice - somewhat roomy and clean. However, there was no real breakfast [...]. There was a pkg of 6 chocolate mini donuts sitting out and 2 cups of waffle mix - 1 had a bug in it. There was juice and coffee - nothing else. No fruit, bagels, cereal - nothing. I don't expect a lot for a continental breakfast, but they shouldn't advertise breakfast if they don't really have one. We ate breakfast at a close IHOP.[...]

Just an overnight stop on our way to Orlando, FL. One of the two reasons we stopped there was that it had a pool (the other being that it was cheap) and all the boys wanted to do was swim once we got to the hotel, but once we got there, we were told that the pool was closed due to a broken ladder, though it looked fine to us.

The rooms were acceptable for a nights stay. Though an older motel it was clean. Could use some updating. TVs in rooms were very outdated - not black & white outdated but not the best picture. Front desk personnel was helpful with directions.

My girls & I enjoy the room it had a good space also had a office desk to do business work.It has all you need just like an apartment we also went to the small gym it was cool.The only thing that needs improvement is the pool the water was to cloudy we dint feel good to swim in it.

Hotel staff very friendly & responsive. Key entry to building made us feel safe. "Grab & go" breakfast was a little disappointing. We saved a lot of money by fixing meals in our kitchenette. Definitely a "best value" place.

We arrive at 1:30 AM. Door was locked and desk clerk was sleeping, after several knocking on the door, He woke up and opened the door, Room was cleaned, but one of beds was broken and had a hole in it. We couldn't find the way to turn the water in the bath tub to shower. Breakfast was lousy, old and water down. For $70.00 a night, in the other tourist aria, such as Orlando, you could stay in dissent three star hotel, not at this hell hole in Alabama, byway. Pay alittle more and maybe other Hotels in the aria be better?
