For the money, this is a good option. The shuttle service is worth a bundle. We used it to go to SeaWorld, the zoo, Sea Harbor and the airport. This saved us at least forty dollars a day. The drivers were GREAT. The breakfast, although not the best, is a definite bonus.

This hotel was more than adequate and the staff was outstanding. Very accomodating, very nice and helpful. They went above and beyond our expectations. We had a pleasant stay, good sleep and were completed satisfied. Thank you Day's Inn!

Our stay at your hotel was very pleasing, our room was very spacious and my son really enjoyed your pool. The breakfast needs some work, really should include some kind of meat not just eggs and pancakes. As for the staff they all were fantastic and friendly. Was very impressed at how you could ask any staff a question and they had the answer even if they were working in housekeeping they could answer questions about services at the front desk!! The shuttle drivers were awesome they made you feel like you were real people not just and trip to the airport. Thanks for a great stay!!!!!

Too be honest I did not expect much booking that hotel. However, sightseeing was our priority so we just needed a place to crash at night. It turned out to be very nice hotel with excellent service and perfect location. Everything you need to see is literally within 10-15 min drive.

When we arrived at the San Diego airport we were told that our reservation didn't include the airport shuttle. Some friends who arrived earlier that day used the shuttle without any problems. We called again and were told that the airport shuttle doesn't pick up at the airport but only drops off?? Had to take a cab. The free continental breakfast was below average. The free shuttle to the Marine Base took 1 1/2 hrs after waiting in line. The walk back from the base took 20 minutes.

When booking thing hotel i was a bit scared of the reviews, but after personally testomony i can say it wasnt bad, room looked just like picture and the bed were actually pretty comfy. Bathroom was a little small but plenty of hot water. i didnt like that the cleaning ladies came knocking on your door early like at 9am when lets be realistic, its a vacation and your probably just getting up at that time. Breakfast should include everything instead of paying extra justbfor eggs and pancakes. Lacation was actually pretty good, decent distance from everything.

First of all, it's not in the best section of town. Homeless people walking the streets although they never bother anyone. Not enough resturants around in walking distance. Had to walk across a parking lot, cross a back street and then into another parking lot to reach our building with our room. Comforter on the bed was so lumpy in looked like there might have been a body under it! No in-room safe as advertised.Standard with breakfast consisted of toast, beagles, cold cereal, rolls and fruit. Spent our free time with family at another hotel.

Location: Great! A short drive from attractions such as Balboa Park, Gaslamp, and Sea World. Right next door to Walgreens so you can pick up necessary things that you forgot to pack for your trip. And a lot of stores/restaurants nearby such as In-n-out, Tjmaxx, and Target. Free breakfast: Is just that. Nothing to rave about. cereal, overly sweet muffins & pastries from local grocery store, bread, and plain bagels. For $5 more, you get scrambled eggs and pancakes.... As for quietness: Not a place for families to bring their kids unless they can sleep through the noise. It was our bad luck I guess. We booked the hotel for a 2-night stay after Christmas. Our neighbor (the 1st night) were a young co-ed group of adults who found pleasure in talking/giggling until the wee morning hours. The next night, we had new neighbors who came home from their drunkin escapade shortly after 1 am and continued their drunkin stupor until after 3:30 am. Like I said, we were unfortunate maybe because of the date that we booked this hotel AND because we had a room with adjoining doors....so it didn't muffle our neighbor's 'noises'. But luckily for us, our toddler was sick so he fell asleep quite easily the 2nd night. Although this hotel was cheap and offered many amenities, personallly, I will not book here again.
