When we first checked into our motel the staff seemed rather pleasant and the process was quick. Once we entered out room that's when it all went down hill. A very tiny room tucked away in the back corner of the hotel, I'm surprised they even use this room for guests! The window was up against a brick wall that had graffiti all over it. My husband and I just looked at each other and laughed, you get what you pay for... Then night time came and we probably got about 3 hours of sleep that night, maybe. Here is why; a spring in the broken down old mattress kept poking me in the side, a constant loud knocking and banging sound from inside walls, a broken AC, and a drunk girl next door singing her heart out at 3am (I understand that is not the hotel's fault but just another annoyance to our sleepless night) On top of all the discomfort the room smelled like dirty feet. That morning my husband requested that we be moved to a new room and cancel our third night there. He got a horrible attitude and eye rolling from the girl at the desk, but she did change our room. When we got to our new room it was such a relief! Cleaner, didn't smell quite as bad and it had a normal window. Then we go to use the toilet and to our unpleasant surprise it was clogged up with some nasty stuff. We called the front desk and once again got attitude, the girl took a deep breath and said "i"ll find someone to fix it." In the meantime my husband and I went to get some lunch, we ended up being gone for about 3 - 4 hours, about 5 hours total since we informed the front desk of our gross toilet. We returned to the room and the toilet still had not been fixed. My husband called the front desk and informed the girl that no one came to fix the toilet. Her response? "oh, house keeping went home for the day, sorry, I don't have anyone to fix your toilet" my husband said "sorry, that's not going to work for us, we need a working toilet." again, more attitude and she replied "ugh, I'll let the manager know" So we left again and were gone for about 3 - 4 hours. Came back and to our surprise the toilet was FINALLY fixed. The next morning we both woke up with athletes foot, probably due to the very very unclean shower, the floor of the tub was a greyish black and not to mention the hotel room carpet was filthy as well. When we checked out the girl at the desk told us our third night would be refunded since we cancelled. And more problems, instead of refunding us she charged us the same amount three times. We had been very patient with this hotel and never once raised our voices, we were very pleasant although the staff was not pleasant to us but this was the last straw! I was infuriated! We contacted the hotel and get this, was told there was nothing that they could do about not only not giving us a refund for a night we didn't even stay there but for over charging us as well! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, stay away!

It is very good option for what you pay, the hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and willing to help. It is an option for sleep and shower, I was out at 8 am and came back around 11 pm. The hotel is in a short walk to the fisherman´s wharf area, and if you dont want to walk it is a bus stop in front of the hotel, that takes you to fisherman´s wharf.

The staff were difficult to deal with. The rooms were cramped. Overall a poor choice.

It was in an excellent location and the staff was friendly and helpful. Close to bus stop and wharf so I would recommend this to friends.
