Comfort Inn By the Bay

Perfekte Lage, man kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichen. Würde wieder buchen kann es nur weiter empfehlen. P.S. Frühstück war includiert und ganz O.K.

Having traveled to SFO for business many times before, this is one of the few I did for personal reasons. Had a great time, mainly because the hotel is located within walking distance to many great attractions, restaurants, and shopping. When I didn't walk somewhere, transportation was easy to fine and relatively inexpensive (OK, cabs aren't!) The hotel itself is a nice clean place. The free breakfast is pretty good, considering it's free. The only complaint I had was the in-room air conditioner/heater. It was rather warm in SFO over the weekend and the room got rather warm even though I left the A/C on all day. It wasn't a sweatbox, but some attention needs to given to the A/C maintenance and operation.

Close to fishermans wharf, whoch was great. Staff was friendy, clean quiet room, not so comfy bed...but we were out sightseeing...so it did its purpose...shower shave and sleep.

One of the reasons we pick a hotel is the free internet. This hotel offers internet but you can't get it. There is either one bar for low or no connectivity. We had a internet wire I hooked up to that and still only got low connection. Only a few rooms offer refrigerators. Hotel is very difficult to get into because of the divider in the middle of the street and the no left turn intersections.

Hotel staff seemed overworked and best described as lacking warmth. I arrived at 2:30 PM after a 6-hour flight, and was told that check-in was at 4PM, and my room was not ready. As I sat in the lobby, walk-in guests were given a room without having to wait. The only reason to stay at this hotel is the cheaper rate and 10 minute downhill walk to Fisherman's Wharf. I would probably look elsewhere next time, but the reviews did say that you get what you pay for.

The hotel was comfortable and breakfast every morning was a real benefit. The location was great for Fisherman's Wharf and local buses heading to Chinatown and State Capitol.

Overall good experience except the breakfast was poorly laid out and the parking was not included. At $26 per day to park I would have stayed else where.

We stayed here for about four days, and were really only at the hotel to sleep and eat breakfast, but the time we did spend at this hotel was great. The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect! We were able to easily walk to everywhere we wanted to go, including Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, the crookedest street on Lombard, and there are bus stops very close to the hotel for where we couldn't walk. It was a fairly safe area as well, though there were not many tourists walking around our hotel. I would definitely stay here again

The location of the hotel was great! Only about 6 blocks from Fisherman's Wharf/Ghiradelli square. The room was small but it served its purpose and was clean. The only other bad thing about the hotel was the elevator-it ran slow and we were often waiting a couple minutes to board. Continental breakfast was great and always stocked up. I would definetly stay here again but not drive next time- parking sucked and cost $26/night.

we needed an emergency place to stay and this was the best accomodations we could've asked for! The evening manager and desk host were amazing!
