Had a Great Time
The Hotel was clean everywhere. Folks at the front desk area were helpful and friendly. Food at breakfast was fine. The only unpleasant experience was not knowing about the $51.00/day parking charge. We were there 7 days and it cost us an additional $359.00 just to park our car. In addition to the room charge. That was extreme!! Other than that, the hotel location could not have been better. My wife and I had a wonderful time in San Francisco.

Comfort and convenience
front desk staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. this hotel is excellent location for walking the entire wharf area, North Beach, including Lombard St., and Embarcadero. Excellent restaurants on Columbus Ave. The Hollywood Cafe right next to the hotel is excellent for breakfast (although the breakfast buffet at the express is very good) and lunch.

actually medium walk. Columbus Ave restaurants and shops. Volare Trattoria - good Italian, and Original Joe's, Union & Stockton, off Columbus, very good upscale dining.

perfect location perfect location perfect staff
We were not in the hotel very much however this hotel hit the bill for our group. Not expensive, friendly staff, great breakfast, perfect location, very nice clean room! I would highly recommend this hotel anyone with family friends or girlfriends!

Would (Will) Stay Again
Such a great hotel and a great location. Withing walking distance of many attractions and bus stops, tour beginnings and street car beginning points. And a Walgreens close for all the incidentals you leave behind. Comfy bed, quiet place... I could go on about this place but I'll just say if or when I ever return I'm staying here.

Great location
Convenient location to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. Clean hotel and good, friendly staff. Comp breakfast was nice but don't expect a chef on hand to serve you. Parking rate is ridiculous, $45! Valet only! Overall stay was worth it.

Short drive from hotel
The City Tour was not worth the money. The tour guide dropped off the tourist at locations not worth mentioning, except for the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a self-guided tour for the most part, what a waste.

great location for the sites
This hotel was in a great location. Two blocks from the wharf, lots of resturants, attractions, tours, shops, buses near by. The Hotel suggested a shuttle from and to the airport that worked out well. This was the only vacation we did not need to rent a car. Room was small but had all we needed, besides we spent all our time out on the town, just sleep in the room, free breakfast helped start the day.

GREAT LOCATION AND HOTEL
This hotel is in a great location to pier 39 and surrounding attractions. It also has a continental breakfast unlike the regular Holiday Inn across the street.

at the wharf
overall pretty good value, short walk to wharf and noth beach, chinatown. first room had window facing other windows. asked for change and got a view of alcatraz and some trolley noise, but not bad. free breakfast was ok, could get old quick. i would stay again

Close to all sites/cable cars - great fun
Very enjoyable, chose this one for location and full breakfast provided. Money saver. Staff was very polite and did a wonderful job. Stored luggage upon checkout as well. Thanks for everything.
